You did a great job! For many of my clients I paint the outlet covers and switch plates to match the background wall color. Then these spots end up fading away and don't distract ones eyes away from the focal point.

I like this idea. The outlet covers and plates are a bit too much. I will have to take you up on your tip. It sounds like you paint a lot more than me. Sometimes it just takes a second pair of eyes.

Now, to find a bit more Navy paint.....

Just have to say I love what you did!! Are you planning on doing anything else? I also live in Wisconsin and come winter there is nothing to do when it is 30 below so this will really help pass the winer blues!!

You're right, you just have to enjoy what you love and forget what the rest of the world thinks. I have had to answer the "why are you going on ANOTHER Disney Cruise?" question more times than I can count. (sigh)

I'm like you, I have something Disney in every room in the house. Some rooms are more subtle, like b&W photos from our TA cruise in 2007. In some way, I always find a way to work the Main Mouse into the rooms of the house though, so I can relate. Tattoos, now THAT'S something I don't have!

This is just so cool and i loved the colour of the blue / navy paint. I cant imagine how long this took to complete from start to finish. I think the quality of the work is fab and the attention to detail. Well done you - fancy a holiday in the UK? We too will feed you etc ......

The UK sounds fabulous! I missed my shot at a Baltic cruise this summer, because I was too pregnant! ACK! I DO fancy a holiday anytime, anywhere! HA! Oh, I think I have a room to paint in MN and GA first though. I could earn some great frequent flyer miles!
