DCL and staying night before at WDW

We are going on a 3 night cruise Sept. 4-7. We used points to pay for the cruise. We have decided we want to spend the night before the cruise at AKV and use Disney transportation to get to the Port from AKV. We want ME to pick us up at MCO on Sept. 3 and take us to AKV. Then we want to have DCL transport pick us up at AKV on Sept. 4 and take us to the Port and have DCL transport pick us up from Port on the 7 and take us to MCO. We want to pay for AKV with our points. Is this all possible? I had read someone else's post saying DCL wouldn't pick her up at WDW because she had not booked her WDW room with DCL. Please advise!!!

Yes you can pay for transport to port and the return trip to MCO. I believe it is $69 per person. We found it much cheaper to do a one way car rental.

Can't help with the Cruise Transfer. We stayed at ASMo before the cruise this year and then rented a car to drive to port. Took ME to ASMo and it was great not to lug all our stuff around the airport. Rental car compnay picked me up at WDW and dropped off close to the terminal. It was cheaper than $69*3 for Disney Transportation.

Another thing to consider is the time it will take you to get to the port on the Disney transport. If you take a rental car then you can arrive early. Check in to the ship and explore it as soon as they start boarding. With only 3 days to enjoy the ship you will want to have as much time as possible.
