DC with an infant?

Has anyone done this? Its just DH DD and myself in 3 weeks and we are debating if we should just wait and go in the future or go this time.

DD will be 7 months and loves the water - regular swimmer but not sure she'll be fussed on salt water.

Any thoughts or experiences would be appreciated.
