We are planning a fall trip to FL, and want a chance to visit DC again. We were there 2 years ago, and it was one of the best parts of our whole trip. We learned about the free entry to SW and AQ when we signed in for our dolphin swim, and so did an unplanned trip to SW 2 days later. It was great. This time we'd like to take full advantage of that feature (would have last time if I had done my homework) and visit all the parks. But do we have to visit DC first and "activate" the tix, or can we do everything else and save DC for last? Does anyone have experience with this? If I remember correctly, two years ago we just had DC vouchers from our TA which we traded in for our DC id tags. Would we take these vouchers to SW or AQ to get in?

You can use your 14-day SW and AQ admission either before or after DC, or a combination of both :thumbsup2 .

If you do DC first, then you can use your DC ID tag to gain admittance to the other two parks. If DC is not your first park, then you would use the SW & AQ e-tickets that are emailed to you with your DC reservation information. They come in a PDF file that you print and scan at each park.

Hope that helps! :)

But the 14 days start when you use the pass at any of the other parks and you must go to DC on one of the following 13 days or it will expire.

Does anyone else feel that it is ridiculous that they do not offer a full time - no black out dates discount to DC for AP holders?

My family of 4 all have BG/SW/AQ season passes so if we book DC we waste 13 days of BG/SW/AQ entry. That should be worth something to DC...even a 10% discount would be something...

I feel the same way about EZPay not being offered to anyone outside of FL. Why do we get punished?

Sorry to be off topic but...

Non-US residents have been excluded from almost every discount and deal over the last 6 months or more. Its very frustrating! Much as I love SW, it does tend to rub one the wrong way.

I was not surprised to see the DC black out dates again this summer. The same thing happened in 2013 as well. I am looking forward to travelling in the offseason in future years now that our DS will be graduating high school in June. I can't wait to take advantage of all the offseason deals! (assuming they don't restrict Canadians from the offers :rolleyes1)
