Today we went to Epcot all day. Weather was back to sunny and it felt good to be out of rain.
The kids went back on Sum of All Thrills....long line again for this attraction...but they really wanted to do it again.
We rode most of the rides by noon and then headed over to guest services to meet for the Aqua Seas tour!
This tour was fantastic.....you are taken behind the scenes at the living seas aquarium. We saw the backstage area where they train the dolphins, feed the fish and we saw the manatee tank. At this point we watched a short video explaining some details of our tour. We were taken to the locker rooms where each of us had a locker with our name on it. Inside was our wetsuit, booties, towel, etc. After we all squeezed into these wetsuits we met Jeff in the hallway. He then led us through the attraction up 2 sets of stairs and into the aquarium area. It was a little freaky walking through the place dressed in these outfits!!
We all got into the water and were assisted with our tanks, flippers and masks....and then it was off!! How incredibly cool it was to have a sea turtle swim just inches away from you....he then surfaced for a breath of air right next to me....I was positively shocked!!! Jonathan came within inches of the spotted Stingray....and several times we swam through schools of fish! An amazing experience!!!!!! I HIGHLY recommend this! Do not let lack of swimming experience stop you from this....you are actually using a flotation device. Bill who can not swim at all thought this experience was "exhilarating" At the end of the tour we went back to the locker rooms, showered, dressed and then had drinks in the lounge. We were given pictures and a nylon bag as a gift. This is a picture of the picture we were given so it's a tad blurry. If anyone has any questions...let me know.
We ended the day meeting up with some great friends and had a ton of laughs!!
It's one of those simulator type rides. You design your own roller coaster and then it simulates the coaster you designed....I myself will never go on it again.
DS will want to go on it. Which I suppose will eat vast amounts of time on our ONE Epcot day. Then again, if it is freezing cold and/or pouring rain I guess that could be a good thing!

I zoned out on a chair....so it wasn't so bad. Bill wanted to watch some 3D weather thing...but we just missed the show (secretly I was more than OK with that)
Wow - USF looks deserted as usual - wonder if that was the weather? Glad it's dried up again now.
We both prefer TL to BB - I love theat double dipper slide but I just prefer the atmosphere and theming at TL. Hopefully we can get some water park time in before it gets too cold for simming - we have passes for Aquatica!
