OK...just so you all believe me that I am trying to be more laid back....we slept in til 9 am!!! We haven't even left for a park yet. (I am feeling a little twitchy now however)

I will talk a bit more about the dessert buffet later today. I have mixed thoughts about it.

Last night was MVMCP....we had a GREAT time. Crowds were really low and we walked on to almost everything. The fireworks and parade were great!!

Wishes Dessert Buffet

The desserts were very good....not anything that would cause me to go crazy over...but they were good. One of the issues was doing this event during the Xmas Party...2 cups of hot chocolate and several sugar cookies in...none of us were hungry at all. I am shocked Bill didn't go into a diabetic coma!! There were very few people at this buffet...10-12 tables tops. Very nice group of people. Am I gad we did this...YES! Will we do it again...NOPE! I liked having a seat for the fireworks....but the way the roof is you can't see the sky.....so to me if I have to stand up...I can stand any where for free. For 5 of us it was pricey....but again...I am glad we did try this.

WOOT! LOVING the live report! TWITCHING is exactly what I did on my trip when it was 9am and we weren't out the door yet! Sounds like you are having a great time, can't wait to hear more!

My feelings were pretty much the same about the Dessert buffet, we enjoyed it but it's not on our list to do again.

Well, I am glad we saw it. Another thing that's on the list that we won't do again. For $20 + per person I thought it was a lot of 30 minutes of fun.

What did you think of Gaylord's ICE? We have a display here and I'm thinking about taking the kids.

Hi everyone!!

Had a great day today. We started our day at Epcot.

We walked onto Test Track, Mission Space, short wait for Soaring…..walked onto The Land. Walked on to Figment.

We tried out Sum of All Thrills. This got mixed reviews….Bill and I intensely disliked it and felt sick and the kids LOVED it!! WARNING…this attraction loads very very slow. Do it early. 8 people at a time makes for some long waits.

Lunch at Chefs de France was excellent! 3 of us had the 3 course price fix menu. The kids got a big kick out of Remy…and to be honest, so did I. The only downside to lunch was that it took about an hour and 45 minutes….a bit too long for us for lunch. But other than that, I highly recommend the restaurant.

Afterwords we walked the countries and rode the rides from Norway and Mexico. The crowds were very light in the World Showcase.

At this point it was 3 pm so we went back to Animal Kingdom Lodge.

Tonight we went to Ft. Wilderness to do a carriage ride. We really enjoyed it and it was $45 well spent. I was amazed at how many campers had out their xmas decorations.

Still can't believe the number of walk ons/short waits. looks like this is a good time to travel. We were at WDW at this time 4 years ago and I distinctly remember crowds getting heavier in comparison to the first two weeks of november.

The carriage ride sounds like a good idea for something different to do.

That's what I was thinking.

Sounds like you are getting a lot done before the crowds pick up for Turkey Day. We really enjoyed Chefs when we were there in August.
