Long time no hear peeps : ) it is me mother of the thread.

So can someone here tell me how a person who is not related to the child get to keep said child form BOTH the natural parents ? I mean if they want to claim neglect wouldnt the child Grandparents ( both sets are stable) have the chance to raise the child 1st ?
COME ON I dont want this to turni nto a mess like when JERK was doing it : (

yes, he is a cairn terrier....his name is Shadow...he is THE best dog I've ever owned and such a sweetheart. We adopted him about a year ago from a family that had to find a home for him....we absolutely love him! He is the image of our cairn Max who we had to put to sleep about 5 years ago, it's like Max came back to us...my husband who did not want another dog is now so attached to him, they are inseparable...I'm the odd woman out in the triangle...LOL

He is sooooooo cute. He looks like my parents but she is a girl Beasley... I have a Cairn too but he is Wheaton (sp?) Kirby...I have had them all my life... I love them. We have a Shih Tsu too because I wanted a softer hair girl dog but she is no princess, she hangs to much with the Cairn thinking she has the wire hair and gets mad when I have to brush her so much.

Yes, I love Cairn's, great breed of dog! Wheaton is a nice coat color...but both of mine have been brindles...

I agree the Claire thing is crazy. Sometimes I think this writer is doing really good and then I think is this the same writer.

Quick question: I have been searching and searching and cannot find out what happened to Mickey Horton. The last thing I had seen about him was when he was married to Bonnie Lockhart. I kind of stopped watching while the Salem Stalker thing was going on. It made me mad that they made Marlena the stalker. So, I boycotted it for awhile.

Thank you. I was kind of confused the other day when Maggie asked Nick to fix the clock Mickey had bought for her. She was talking about him kind of wistfully making it sound like he had died or moved far away. Since I have DH hooked on it now, he was asking me what happened to him and I had no clue. I knew someone from Dis would be able to help.

Kate figured out Sami's secret that E.J. helped. Even told Lucas but he didn't believe her. Can see where that is going.

Shawn looked like he was going to have a heart attack or something today. Wonder where that is going. Mimi asked if he was ok. She told him Phillip was leaving the country with Claire. We of course that won't happen. Also heard that Victor paid of the judge too.

Hello all,
I'm new to this particular board, but I have watched Days for several years.
This Claire thing is nuts! But I guess that is what happens when people pay off judges and hire people to "kidnap" a baby, then "bring her back". So I guess if Phillip gets to keep Claire for the long haul then some nanny will raise Claire! Or maybe they will send her off to some boarding school. Isn't that where Phillip "grew up"??

And Chelsea makes me sick! She is the most self absorbed character ever!!

I'm not really warming up to Max and Mimi as a couple! I had heard that Farah Fath is maybe staying.....so maybe they will....

At any rate............Phillip, Victor, and Kate can all just jump off a cliff as far as I am concerned!! (And yes, I know it is just a TV show )

I forgot to say Stephanie is still not gone. My previews today showed her hugging Patch and leaving so maybe then she will be gone.

720L-- we all agree on that one but I don't think that will happen. They wouldn't even let the old Belle come back because they said this one was more grown up.

I saw the "old" Phillip on a magazine cover in the grocery store last week and thought.....hope he has improved his acting skills since his last run. I haven't watched today's DOOL on DVR yet so..... At least the old Phillip is more believable to be "bad" if that is what they are wanting to portray. He kind of has thet beady eye thing going for him.

I loved the old Belle but I really like this new one. She actually "looks" like she could be Marlena's daughter and she does look more the grown up version of Belle. I can't imagine Kirsten Storms looking old enough to have a baby b/c she has such a "baby face." herself.

Still don't like this new Shawn. At this point he and Belle just don't seem to have much on-screen chemistry. Maybe some day I will get my wish for a new and improved Shawn. At least Stephanie is going .....buhbye now, and don't let the door hit you in the....

I agree with a previous poster about Chelsea. Her character is too self absorbed to have gone thru all she went thru in the past year or so. For real folks, strife makes you more appreciative of what you have....not more selfish.
