So after today, do you all agree that Marlena is the serial killer? I have suspected it for some time, but I am sure of it now.

Yep. I just hope they don't try to explain this with "mind control" or something. They'll probalby take the "Marlena was switched with Hattie route" (the old stolen identity). Also, way too much of that on Days.

I just watched for the first time in years - what the heck?? Too weird for me. Anyway, Mom says it's Marlena as Hattie (or Hattie as Marlena.)

It is Marlena and we will see for sure tomorrow. In this week's soap opera digest (the one with Marlena and the killer mask on the cover!) it says that James Reilly told Deidre Hall that it is NOT Hattie.
It also says the John Aniston has been let go--wonder if he is the next victim? That would be so rough on Bo--his mom, his brother, and now maybe his dad???

If it is Marlena I bet she's possessed by the devil again or something really stupid like that. James Reilly loves those supernatural storylines and he wrote the Marlena being possessed by the devil one.

I'm still hoping that the killers Kate or Nicole, I just can't see Marlena killing Roman.

If it is Marlena, they have a lot of explaining to do, like why Maggie told the killer that she had an appointment to see "Marlena" the next day, and she had to tell the killer she was a recovering alcoholic (Marlena knew that). Also, how does a fifty-something woman become an incredibly strong and agile quick-change artist who can be in two places at once and overpower men?

And what makes you think anything Reily does is "normal"? I just hate what he does with the story and the charcters. I hated the Marlena possesed story, and I don't like this one either, but it is less wierd than that one.

I just watched yesterday & today's shows (I tape them since I'm at work). The tiger attack was really brutal, I was surprised they showed that on daytime TV. It's just hard to believe Marlena is capable of setting up that remote can of blood (a high tech "Carrie"). Or the PDA stuff. Or Cassie in the pinata. Here's a thought - mind control with Stephano (or someone?) in the background setting stuff up.

I wondered if the magazine cover is really just a hoax. Why would they drag this serial killer story on for months, with the killer always using the dark clothes and hockey mask, then, within a week of revealing this horrendous killer, they agree to do a magazine cover!!?? Just doesn't make any sense!!

This show is just so much bull. I started watching when Julie and Susan were "fighting" over David. Then Susan got pregnant and had the baby. David put the baby on the swing, it fell off and died, then Susan shot and killed David. I'm talking mid 1960's, folks.

No. 1: Mickey was madly in love with Maggie. He was an attorney. He wouldn't be fooling around a few weeks after his wife's death with some bimbo. They turned him into a joke. No wonder John Clarke quit.

No. 2: All the blood is making me ill. What's with the dead bodies falling out a pinatas, blood coming from a wedding cake, blood all over the wedding gown, etc. Disgusting.

No. 3: It was great seeing Julie and Doug again. Too bad the real Bill Horton can't be around any more since they killed off the Bill Horton character (Edward Mallory, now he was good).

No. 4: It always made me mad when they aged the babies so fast. Mrs Horton had great-great-great-great grandchildren running all over the place.

No. 5: Marlena the serial killer?????? She was almost killed by the last serial killer. Where is Jed Allen (Don) when she really needs him? This is just soooooo stupid.

James Reilly really messed up a great show. Send him back to Harmony with all those clowns.

Marlena loved Roman...why would she kill him?

She knew Maggie didn't allow alcohol in her home....so huh???

She thought Cassie was her daughter....why would she kill her???

One scene the killer was chasing Sami around trying to kill her...Marlena trying to get rid of Sami??? Granted Sami can be annoying and needs to be shut up sometime, but her own mother doing her in....PLEASE RILEY!!!

Abe was Roman's best friend...she loved Roman....need I say anymore??

I say they're going with the mind control thing again by Stefano...how the heck else can they explain it?? Maybe the cover of SOD was a hoax...good move on Riley's part....but I doubt it. Will I tune in tomorrow to find out...NO WAY!! I'll just come her to the CB to hear it from y'all.

Yep, I remember when Marlena was married to Don Craig, and they had a baby that died of SIDS.

He really screwed the show up good!

And I'm so tired of listening to Sammi whine about Kate, it is the same thing every day. We know you hate her Sammi, tell us 1000 more times please.

I 100% agree! I just hate what they are doing to Mickey's character. I mean, COME ON, they have him acting so dumb. Like he doesn't know Bonnie is "after him"

I started watching the show back in the early-mid 1980s. I loved the love story lines of Bo & Hope, Steve & Kayla, John/Roman & Marlena, Shane & Kim, etc.
Those were the 'good Days'

I think the tiger attack was pretty brutual.

I have been saying from Day One that Marlena could be the killer.

It does not surprise one bit that Marlena is the killer.

There is some explaining that will need to be done though. I heard this will NOT be another possession storyline (Good...once is enough!)

I guess we will have to wait to find out the real story.

I totally agree with the last few posters. The Days of today are just too much! Almost like tabloid fodder .vs. the long-standing relationship based character plots of yesteryear.
I long for some solid, interesting storylines between characters and families. But with a good portion of the major characters killed off, that doesn't seem possible.
Our only hope is that Jennifer will wake up and discover....it's only a dream.....(ala Dallas)!!

Although I am also irritated when Sami whines about Kate, the real whiner lately is Belle "please tell me everything will be OK". She whines to Shawn about her parents, whines to John about Marlena, whine, whine, whine.
I remember when everyone thought Marlena was dead because the Salem Slasher (I think) killed her twin and the original Roman (my favorite) was so devastated. People picketed the studio! Now everyone knows whats happening weeks ahead of time.
According to the early edition days site, Marlena is cold as ice in Thursday's episode.

I totally agree. It really doesn't make sense. It would be something if Rielly leaked that the killer will be one person and it will turn out to be another, but whoever the killer is, I have a feeling we will point out all the shows where something doesn't make sense. I really hate when shows do a storyline for a long time, then when we finally get to the climax, certain things don't make sense An hour and a half to go, before we find out who the killer really is

My oldest daughter has been following this show with me, off and on, for years (she is 12 now). When I had told her awhile ago that they were going to reveal the killer on Jan 28th, she BEGGED me not to send her to school that day! Well, today's the day and guess where she is?? SHE'S HOME!! She must of done some serious praying to the weather gods - they have a snow day today!! She has already seen the cover of the magazine and got really ticked with them for doing that. As I said, what was he thinking???
