As for the presto chango thing with Marlena, I am going with the theory of the Marlena/Hattie duo.

Perhaps Marlena is with Belle and John and Hattie is inside with Tony?

And as for Marlena killing Colin, I thought it was already established that Nicole killed Colin and that is what Victor is blackmailing her about. Am I wrong about that?

Wouldn't anyone who saw her wonder why a psychiatrist was wearing a lab coat? She's never worn a lab coat before, I don't think psychiatrists do. How the heck did she get into the lab coat in the medicine room, come back out and talk to Belle in regular clothes, then back behind the curtain with the syringe, then back out talking to Belle, then back in the lab coat at Tony's bedside???????? Seems like a double to me.

As you know in soap land nothing is ever as it seems Remember Shawn D thought he killed Colin. Colin pretended to be dead after the gun went off. Maybe Colin did the same thing with Nicole, making her think she really killed him.


I read in the TV Guide that James Reilly said that there is going to be a big, big reveal this Christmas and even then the story continues into 2005

He also said "the killings will not turn out to be a Bobby Ewing dream. There's a twist in the Marlena plot in May that has never been done before and that's the one I want to keep secret until it's on the air."

Interesting I can't imagine a plot that hasn't been done before on a soap. Haven't they done just about anything and everything?

Does anyone have any ideas?

I agree though, I don't know how ANYONE in Salem doesn't know who Marlena Evans is!! I am sure she is in the newspapers

I remember either yesterday or the day before they showed the National Enquirer type paper of Salem.... and Dr Marlena Evans was on the front cover..... maybe the policeman doesn't read the papers LOL...

I was thinking the exact same thing...except when they peel back the mask, it will be Tec.

I'm still not buying that it's Marlena. Maggie said something along the lines "you probably don't know this, but we don't serve alcohol in our house". I can't think of a motive she'd have for killing Abe. There are too many things to list--didn't JER say that viewers would be able to piece the clues together themselves?

Hmmm, I wonder, will this secret be kept as well as the identity of the serial killer? I have to say knowing it was Marlena from reading the spoilers took away the surprise factor. I know it's my own fault for reading what I did but in the end I was hoping it was going to be someone else and all the rumors were just that.

I will have to try and be better about finding out things ahead of time.

No, I don't. There has been so much done that I don't know what they can think of next to really shock the fans.

I do like the idea of the killer using a latex mask of Marlena & then take off the mask & it is totally someone to shock us (like Shawn D or Lexi!!! ) Can you tell I am not a fan of Shawn D or Lexi

1. The killer is not Hattie.
2. The killer "looks" like Marlena.
3. Not a brain chip...


This idea is a bit far fetched, but seeing who the writer is...might make sense! Cloning is a pretty new medical break through. WHAT IF Stefano obtained DNA from Samantha, Marlena's twin sister who died years ago and created her again? He could program her to do as he wishes and she would be a dead ringer (pardon the expression! ) for Marlena! No one would suspect a deceased person to be the killer and I don't think any other soap has done this before.

I thought maybe Stephano had cloned Marlena and had his brain transplanted to her cloned body after he was in the car wreck, but apparently cloning has been done on another soap, if you can believe that.

As I am watching the show today, one thought keeps coming to mind. If I were laying in a hospital bed, hooked up to a heart monitor, and a madman was standing above me, holding a syrienge full of medicine that was going to cause me some serious pain, I really think the heart monitor would be going off the charts!! I always thought heart monitors also had a screen at the nurses station!!

I keep going back to that also.
Also remember when Tony got a envelope & there were all pictures of different people in Salem? I remember Tony saying on the phone to "Father" "Yes Father, I got it (as Tony was looking at all the pictures) Salem will never know what hits them until it is too late." (Or something like that)

I am sure Stefano's hands are in here somewhere. I just can not figure out where and why would he have his own son, Tony killed, unless Tony isn't really dead (it has happened before)

I also remember Tony talking to "Father", who I assume is Stefano. Tony had asked him why Cassie. I guess "Father" must have explained why, but we never heard that part. I'm guessing Tony knew Stefano had his hands in the killings, but probably never knew who it was, until recently. Maybe he told "Father" he couldn't let the killings continue and was going to tell everyone it was Marlena, and that's why Stefano let Marlena kill Tony. (I know he's not dead yet, but he will be) Who knows, I just hope when this is over, it will make sense, but I won't hold my breath. Marlena being the killer doesn't make sense, so I doubt the ending will either

I have to say, I enjoyed watching Deidre Hall being a villain. She was really good today taunting Tony

I saw Deidre Hall on the Ellen Show today. She was saying what a great writer is on this story. She compared it to his fantastic demonic possession storyline. Give me a break!

I thought she was very careful what she revealed. She did say that she's okay with the story the way it's being written. She laughed and shrugged about the fact that the killer's size changed with each killing. She admitted that one time the killer was tall and the next time short, etc.

She says she doesn't know what is going to happen, but I felt she knew more than she was sharing. I'm thinking that there is a twist to this. Two Marlenas is an interesting idea. It would explain some of the quick changes. It doesn't explain why Maggie would say what she did about the bottle of wine. Maggie would have known Marlena knew she didn't drink!

Who knows? Maybe an alien killer from Mars has come to Salem and taken the form of Marlena.

I just have to ask. What was with the kiss Marlena planted on Tony? Was that suppose to be a death kiss? A good bye kiss? What? It looked pretty intense to me.

I also enjoyed seeing Marlena as the villain. Certainly wicked!!

Stepford Wives comes out this summer as a new movie. Marlena is a "Stepford Wife" controlled by Stefano That's my story and I'm sticking too it. It's not cloning and the stepford wives story has never been done on daytime.

So is anyone worried that John will die? I think if Stephano is driving the boat it is unlikely. Sure John and Stephano are mortal enemys, but Stephano has always had a high respect for John and always assumes he can still use him.
