I don't remember them saying who Carly's daughter is either. I don't know why they don't just say who it is...like this is something we're all on the edge of our seats waiting for them to reveal. Who cares? I actually feel that way about the whole show:

Melanie & Philip-yuck
Stephanie & Nathan-no chemistry and I'm SO sick of Stephanie's little smirk
Sydney-when they draw it out this long you don't feel any sympathy for Sami or EJ anymore
Bo/Carly/Hope/Justin-honestly, why do people on soaps who have just broken up immediately hook up with someone else? Good riddance to all of them-it is so boring
Sami & Rafe-according to SOD they will be fighting again soon-yawn.

Brady/Ari/Nicole-Ari gets upset about Brady helping out Nicole with her defense-how original

I thought it was getting good too but not now. I don't care about this drug stuff, or Nathan/ Phillip girl problems. And like someone said this whole baby business went on too long to care anymore.

I don't remember anybody saying which girl is Carly's daughter yet, either. I got the impression that Carly and Bo do know who her daughter is, but we are supposed to still be wondering if it's Mia or Melanie.

I also think it's pretty stupid that they are having Mia absolutely hate Carly right now, for what reason? Because Carly was nice to her and she's embarassed that she opened up to her? So now she thinks Carly is a bad person and never wants to see her again? umm... stupid!

If you wanted to have Mia hate the mom she doesn't know, at least come up with a believable reason for it! UGH! It's been SO FRUSTRATING these days!!

And I agree with whoever said it's terrible trying to watch Carly - she is very one-dimensional. Then again, so is Mia. So that MUST be her daughter!

For some reason I keep thinking it is Melanie that is her daughter. She never mentioned a mother that I can remember. It was just her and her father. I wonder how long they will drag this out?

Here's the thing: I just can't imagine that they'd try to have us believe that Carly had some romantic love affair with that puke of a father that Melanie had. If Melanie turned out to be Carly's daughter, then how could Daniel be the father? Melanie already had a father.

Hi, I'm new here and I can't believe there is a Days of Lives thread! I've been watching now for probably 20 years.

I wanted to comment on how Melanie could be Carly and Daniel's child. Even though we saw who was suppose to be Melanie's dad, it's possible he isn't. Maybe he was a friend of Daniel's and he agreed to take care of her being that Daniel was probably just starting out as a doctor and just couldn't care for her and Carly couldn't take her because of Lawrence. It might make sense as to why Melanie's "dad" pimped her out. I remember thinking what kind of dad would do that, but if he wasn't her real father it would make a little more sense how he could do that. Of course that would mean Max is not her brother, but he's not on anymore so who cares, lol.

No it wasn't with either of them. I think Daniel is the father because she said Lawrence was sick and he was never the same again. I think maybe Daniel was his doctor At first I thought it was Bo but when Carly left she was happy with Lawrence. Vivian and Victor have the girl's birth date from those hospital paper but not sure if they ever told us it.

2 quick thoughts from today.
One is Phillip definitely not missing a leg today. I guess we are supposed to forget he lost one of his legs in he war.
Second, what the heck is up w/ Sami's hair lately? Today's is very odd looking, especially from the side.
