What is with Nicole's black & white dreams the last two days! HOW BORING!!!!

It explained in the Soap Opera Digest that since some viewers might
miss Days due to the Olympic coverage, they were going to have 2 "stories"
going on that would not advance the storyline very much. They were "Nicole's drunken fantasy" and "stefano/hospital lockdown".
I haven't watched them yet.

Well Stefano's lockdown was more interesting than this 'drunken fantasy'....it didn't even show her drinking the drink she drank....just pouring it, then it spilled all over the place. What the heck was she drinking that made her drunk?! Plus fantasize in black & white!!!!

I've got yesterdays and todays episodes on my DVR, so I'm going to have to go watch and see just how bad this is!!

I was not thrilled with the lockdown at the hospital. After a couple days I'm like "Get them out of there already!!"

I watched yesterday's and today's in probably 30 minutes (if that!)....I fast forwarded alot of it....BOOOOOORING!!

When I was reading the description of yesterday's show on my guide, I knew right then and there I would not watch that. It sounds just as bad as when Austin and the swamp girl(Greta??) went to virtual Eden.

Wow! I must be the only one who actually LIKED the past 2 days episodes. Anytime I get to see Philip and EJ looking all sexy and in scenes together (I thought the smoking at the bar scene was pretty HOT), I am all for it. I also liked the story. Some of the dialogue was kind of silly, but it was supposed to be an over-the-top, 40's film noir fantasy.

I liked the "Film Noir" episodes. I thought they did them really well. I thought it was fun. You had to know nothing meaningful was going to go on while the Olympics were on.

The preview for tomorrow, is that another John who is back? I did not go back here and read to see if someone posted it or not.

I'm just hoping we're finished with the dream sequence. They did it well and the costumes and hair were fun, but their lines were so corny. And I can't take another day of them all smoking. Made me have a headache just watching. Gag. I'm so ready to move on.

Soap Opera Digest said (seems like I get a lot of info from there)
that John (the old John) was coming back to talk to the New John
to let him know "that he's not down with the way he's running their lives and that it's not too late to make changes". It also says that Santo will be
"talking" to him as well!

I DVR daily but have deleted the past two days show in B&W. The dream shows were not worth watching, just awful.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who doesn't like the "dream" shows. At least on Monday things should be back to normal.

it was supposed to be corny, that is exactly how those films were.

You said it, Scottny!!! I was ready to post that most folks here must be far too young to remember the old films from the 40's! Smoking was the thing back then!

I wasn't too fond of the last few days either, but I realize they had to do something because of pre-empted programming because of sports. It'll be nice when things are back on track.

If NBC doesn't want to have their last soap opera bite the dust, something better happen soon to up the ratings.
