Days of Our Lives Watchers Part Two....

I started watching back when Eugeen and Colipe was on. When Roman was Wayne Northrop. Hope Brady and Jennifer Horton were teenagers. Tom Horton was still alive.

Hi! How long have you been watching? I started in 1987- all 3 of my college roommates watched, so I had no choice. Marlena's plane had gone down and Roman (Drake Hogestyn) was raising Carrie and the twins alone- Sami and Eric were just babies, I think. Bo and Hope had just sailed away on their 'round the world trip, too. The big stories were about the Deveraux family, Justin Kiriakis and Adrienne's love story, and Kim and Shane. Patch and Kayla were also big then- I think it was around the time Patch found out Jack was his little brother Billy, and he made Kayla marry him because he was sick and Patch felt he wasn't good enough for Kayla.

Wow- Days used to be really good!! Makes me sad for the sorry state of the show now...

I just read in SOD that our beloved Francis Reid won't be able to make the episode of putting the ornaments on the tree. I feel so bad about not seeing her. It's like the passing of an era.

I started watching Days back in 96 when I went to college. I remember we scheduled our classes around it. I haven't watched it in years though. I just got too bad. I started watching again at the beginning of Dec and I'm enjoying it. Not like I did back in the day but it's not as bad as a few years ago.

I think they will put them together , that is how Marlena and Roman got together.

I have been watching in the late 70's I guess. I was still in high school. I remember when they killed of Marlena and there was so much protest that they made the storyline change and say it was her twin sister that was killed.

What happened to Max and Stephanie. They kept making sure that we knew they were not blood related, yet Max was Stephanie uncle.

I saw the beginning were Lucas and Chloe got together, I didn't think it would go this far. I wish they would of kept her with Philip.

I remember reading that Sammi was pregnant in real life, but how come she doesn't show on "The Biggest Looser?

What happened to Max and Stephanie. They kept making sure that we knew they were not blood related, yet Max was Stephanie uncle.

Melanie, Max's sister kept getting in there way and Max siding with her and not Stephanie.

I saw the beginning were Lucas and Chloe got together, I didn't think it would go this far. I wish they would of kept her with Philip.

I don't like these two together either. But if you are watching now Daniel is going to become a third party in this storyline.

Sami wasn't showing yet on Biggest Loser, I was waiting to see if she would too! On finale night she was definitely showing and is due in January. Wonder if she hosts the one that is coming on in January?

I got to watch Days yesterday for the first time, since I had a "snow day". I couldn't believe how fake the acting was. I remember it only takes a few weeks, and then you don't notice it as bad.

I was watching other Soaps and I saw the the guy that used to play Shawn, the 2nd one, not the first one", he is on The Bold and the Beautiful. I also saw the old Brady too and Rex. Then I saw Mimi on One Life to Live. I can't believe how these actors just jump around from Soap's to Soaps. They must be really good actors that they can go from one show to another. You would think the shows would want "unknowns".

I liked it when some of the Soap stars would act as the same person, and move around from Soap to Soap, that was different.

Those episodes from The Biggest Loser were taped months ago, before she started to show.

I don't hate Nicole, I just feel sorry for her. She is so desperate to not lose EJ. All she wants is someone to love her. She's lost her miracle baby and now she is one her way to losing the man she loves. It's very sad.

I've always hated Nicole. And trying to drug Brady? Now that was really low! I don't even care that she changed her mind. I can't imagine why he is still nice to her.

I agree. We need to have a villain, although I'm not crazy with the direction they're taking her. Faking a pregnancy and almost drugging Brady, seems a little extreme, even for Nicole. I actually would have liked to see her with EJ as a real couple without any lies, but this is soap land, so that won't happen. I wonder how they'll explain Sami's absence once Alison Sweeney goes out on maternity leave.

Back then her character was big in the story lines. Not so much now I don't think. She was a diva and won a day time Emmy( I think). Days hasn't been in the running for along time for that. It all goes to General Hospital and Y&R.

Wish they would make up their mind with Kate's illness. She is all better now and go leave the hospital for Christmas.

I think they are going to get back together, have a happy ending and "go away" somewhere, not as violent as being killed off. Of course, you are never really dead in soap opera land.
