I was wondering if anyone has ever stayed at the Days Inn near the orlando airport. We are flying in late and only need a clean bed for the night. We will go back to the airport in the morning for our DCL transfers. It only cost 40 dollars so it could be worth it.

We just stayed there for one night in July. It was horrible, the Inn is divided in two, the older building and the newer building. We were in the older portion so I guess that is why is was so nasty, but I would never stay there again and I wrote a letter to Days Inn telling them how bad it was.
All three of our rooms smelled horribly musty, the bed the sheets, the pillows, the whole room. They put us in building 7 , you had to go around the whole resort to get there. We had been dropped off by the town car service so we had all of our luggage (for 7 people) they could only locate one luggage cart for us, and it had a flat tire, so it was difficult to manuver it. The guy that the girl at the front desk asked to help us, seem like he was doing us a favor.
We only paid 35.00 for the night, but I would rather pay more and stay at the Hampton Inn which is nearby as well.

Run do not walk away from 99% of the Days Inn.

We stayed at the Days Inn in Titusville last year and it was very very nice.

I don't expect luxury accommadations at a hotel that only charges $35.00 per night but it was nice, the sheets were clean, the bathroom clean and the air conditioner worked well.

I don't think the above is a fair %. Not all Days Inns are dumps.

I have stayed a nice Days Inn as well, that is why I was so disappointed in the Airport Days Inn. Perhaps if we were in the newer section it would have been okay, but the section that we were in was horrid!

helenk, did you tell anybody about how sorry your room was and if so did they do anything about it. I know if I am paying for a hotel, no matter what the cost, if it is nasty the management will do something about it, or i'll try to find somewhere else to stay.

You pay good money for something you should expect it to at least be decent. Especially one at the airport that probably gets alot of business.
