Daylight Savings Time changes

That shouldn't be the case. During DST the sun comes up later.

I should have said, during the summer months.... it's nice and bright here at 4:30 a.m. the first glimpse of the sun coming up, we're out the door during the summer.

Good thing I read this because my DD has a cheerleading competition on March 11. Wonder how many people are going to be all confused that day! Let's see it's Spring forward, which means people will be an hour late if they don't change. This should be interesting.

I like things just the way that they are. I don't think they should have changed things. But thats just me. I usually am not a big fan of change.

OR are we going to be sitting around waiting for an hour for the judges to show up??????? OR for the hosting team to actually be ready. Me, oh my, I can see all sorts of glitches on THAT competition. Although, being a Sunday, it's usually an afternoon event so by the afternoon, everyone will have it figured out. We don't have times yet so not sure when it will be.

If the sun is up at 4:30 AM with DST, then if it were still on standard time, the sun would be up at 3:30 AM.

The problem is that your OS may not realize that the change happened early, so you might have to do it manually.

Oh gosh, I hope not. I'm lucky I can turn it on.

I mean, every computer everywhere needs to be updated to handle this change. It is a huge ordeal for what, a couple extra weeks of it being light, later? grr.

Riiiiiiiiiiight. Updating is a BIG pain.

Bring it on. Let's keep DST all year round! Woo hoo! I hate it getting dark at 5:30 pm. How am I supposed to squeeze in 9 holes after work if it gets dark after 1 hole? Grrrr....
