Daylight brings tears..MOnday update

I just took a tour of my beautiful Hunters Creek. It's gone....... The damage is massive and everywhere. Trees gone, roofs gone, pool screens gone, everything is just gone. It looks like a war zone. No report on damage at Disney as of yet. Most of Orlanod has terrible damamge. Orange and Oceloa got the worst of it.

AS I said last night...I will NEVER ride another one out in my lifetime. It's going to take a long, long time to fix this...........This is just unreal...

Monday.......drove to the office this morning and saw more of the damage from Charlie. It's pretty wide spread. The big problem now seems to be the availability of gasoline. The stations that do have it, are selling out fast. People are waiting hours in line for gas. Still lots of places without power. Work crews are everywhere cleaning up. Repair crews were at mu complex Saturday repairing roofs, removing tress and replacing signs. Still a ton of work to come. Things will get better......

I'm so sorry for your area damage. We rode it out here in Seminole county and didn't get hit as hard as expected. Our work office is downtown just a few blocks from the executive airport which was hit hard, I fear to see what the office looks like.

Tony sorry about your area. I know it looks pretty devastating right now but they can and will be fixed or replaced. Hang in there. Hopefully no one was injured or killed.

You're in prayers. . hang in there and although there won't be anything easy about it, eventually things will be back to some kind of normalacy. . and like others have said, the important thing is that you're safe. .

hey...glad to hear you are alive. I remember past hurricanes and the destruction the morning brings. Just remember, it is stuff. It can and will be fixed. Ya'll took a direct hit. And you still have the most important thing...electricity and a/c.

Tony..I am so sorry to see all this....I can truly say I know how you feel to wake up and see THAT,,12 years ago we went through ANDREW,,we got out of the house (THANK GOD),,,but seeing it the next day,,driving back ,,with each block was like a dream,,,,,I am watching the pictures on TV now,,and it looks JUST like 12 years ago.....I am so glad you are safe!! And yes this will take a long time to fix....we lost WHOLE developments in Homestead,,and the land is still empty..but YOU are ok and that is the most imporatnt thing..I fear the loss of life is going t be HORRIBLE..........PLEASE stay safe..... This is just so hard to take!!!
