Only one prank call tonight! The noise didn't seem as bad either. Maybe we were just REALLY tired from our day before. Either way, I was glad to get a pretty good night's sleep. Somehow, we managed to make it to another early entry, this time at Animal Kingdom. Along with the herd, we went to the Safari ride. There were so many animals around! It was the best tour we've had. There was an antelope in the lion territory and the male lion was pacing back and forth, obviously very agitated. Next stop was It's Tough To Be a Bug. I don't think many people realize how scary this show is for young children. There were many screaming kids in the show that had to be taken out. Poor things. I just love the show and get really tense right before the bee sting!. By now the rest of the park was open so we went right onto Primeval Whirl. Dh and I really thought the ride was made faster since our last visit! I was screaming all the way through (much to dh's delight!!!). It was lots of fun and was a walk-on. Similarly, Dinosaur was also a walkon. Dh has a problem with motion sickness and this was no exception. He was feeling really sick by now. I said that we were done with rides for today and hopefully just sitting watching shows will make him feel better.

We walked over to Camp Mickey/Minnie for the Lion King show. As we walked over the bridge, we saw the alligator made out of stone. It's pretty well done! The Festival of the Lion King is by far our favourite show in all of Disney. It's just phenomenal! It always brings me to tears. In order to get a lot accomplished in a short time, we tend to do a lot of criss-crossing of the park! It makes me tired just reading it, but we don't mind actually doing it. After the Lion King, we made it to the first Tarzan show of the day. Oh my goodness..........Tarzan! He was stunning. I couldn't quite take my eyes off him. I thought I was shielding my awe from dh, but dh teased that I was drooling......but nah, I don't think so! I kept it in check! ;)

We decided to leave the AK for now and ran into Wes Palm on our way out. What fun! He's so funny with how he interacted with guests. We went back to our hotel to pick up a Christmas stocking we were going to exchange at Downtown Disney. We took the bus to downtown disney and made our exchanges and purchases with no problem. I could spend so much money there! I bought myself a big Goofy doll since he's my favourite and I don't have one yet. We wandered around downtown disney for a while and got a quick bite to eat at McDonald's. It was a gorgeous day so we decided to spend a couple hours at the pool. We were struck by all the cell phones around the pool. We certainly are living in a high tech world these days. There were about 20 teens congregating in the middle of the pool when suddenly the lifeguard kicked them all out. Other than being loud, I have no idea what they did wrong. Most did get out of the pool, but a few refused and the lifeguard had to bring a security guard to get them out. When they did leave, suddenly a lot of parents with young children decided to go IN the pool. I think they were avoiding it before.

At 6pm we were meeting friends to go have dinner at the boardwalk and spend a night at Jellyrolls. We had a glorious night! We got a pizza from Spoodles and sat outside watching the entertainment. The temperature was just perfect. After dinner we wandered around the boardwalk and finally went into Jellyrolls. Our friends had never been there before so they were really excited. They LOVED it! The 4 guys playing tonight were all fantastic and really got the audience involved. We stayed for more than 3hrs until we were all hoarse from so much singing! When we left, the boardwalk was fairly empty but the lights were all so beautiful reflecting on the water. We decided to take another stroll around the boardwalk before going home. It was a perfect end to a wonderful Disney Day. Tomorrow we move to the Animal Kingdom Lodge!!!!

to go to Spoodles...but forgot......thanks for reminding me to do it next time.......the Safari is always fantastic when we go on it.....four weeks ago the male lion was up and pacing.....the guide said that it was his season ....he didn't say that very loud.....hahaha.....thanks again for your great report

Sounds like a great day. I love watching/listening to Wes Palm. He makes life..."WONDERFUL." (or doesn't he do that any more?)

Great Posts,
I just had to comment on the kids getting kicked out of the pool. Wasn't it sort of ironic that parents took their little kids in after the older teenagers got kicked out.

This happened to a bunch of our kids at our pool Some small child got splashed and the father complained and our kids got kicked out. This was 9:00 at nite. Anyway, we all just got there and I was guarding them, and they were not horsing around, but it only takes one complaint about teenagers.

You were very tolerant even with the prank phone calls! I always say, life is a ying and yang, and your yang will be special.:bounce:
