LOL!
Now, what did we do today??
Oh, this is getting worse and worse....
We started the day off at Epcot - long lines today so we had to make good use of fast pass. We rode Soarin' once (I love those orange fields!) and then rode Test Track a couple of times. Lunch was at the World Showcase again. This time I picked Morocco to eat at (chicken sharmwa platter & baklavah) - boy, all this food is really getting to me at this point... DH went to.... Japan again for his standard yakatori chicken & rice.
After lunch I took DH to see Crush at Turtle Talk (Living Seas) because he had never seen this show before. This is a really CUTE attraction where the audience and "Crush" (computer animated) interact with each other. I'm amazed at all the technology that goes into this attraction (of course, it doesn't take much technology to amaze me), but, well, this just fascinates me. Anyways, Crush is talking with some of the kids and he also keeps going back to this man named Jerry in the audience just having some fun with him... Well, Crush decides to open the room up for questions. A little boy raises his hand and asks (and I'm not really sure I should even post this, but I'm going to anyways!
)... he asks Crush something about where his "weiner" is
(I honestly didn't get the whole question because my mind froze on the word "weiner" and I couldn't comprehend the rest...lol!) Even Crush froze and said, "excuse me, can you please repeat the question?" LOL! So the little boy asks again... (and I still didn't get the whole question because my mind was still frozen!!) Now, I'm thinking to myself, "if that was MY boy, I'd be on my feet hauling him out of this place right now!!" Actually..... it that were my boy, I think I would have very inconspiculously snuck out of the room and let DH deal with him!! LOL! Yeah, that's more like it!!
Anyways, he was NOT my boy, so I was amused at the question
and curious as to how Crush would respond!!
He handled it very well and said, "well now, I think that's a question for Jerry over here to respond to!" Poor Jerry! He was speechless!
OK, what fun for the afternoon!
Dinner tonight was at the Coral Reef. DH and I hadn't eaten here since our very first trip to the World in 1988. It is beautiful inside with the huge fish tanks and the low lighting. I had a lobster bisque that was wonderful and crab cake for my entree (which I didn't really care for, but that's okay, more room for dessert - creme brulee again! lol!) DH had a caesar salad, I believe, for his appetizer and steak (?) for his entree. I don't remember his dessert, but it must have been chocolate something! Anyways, while we were in the middle of our dinner, two HUGE turtles dropped to the bottom of the tank, dead center in the window, MATING!! What a sight to behold while eating! LOL! The poor male kept trying to get away, but that female would NOT let him go!
They kept it up the entire meal! It was one of those things where you could not draw your eyes away even though you are trying to enjoy your meal! And all those little girls and boys that were standing at the tank watching the fish now running back to their parents asking what those turtles were doing! LOL! Oh it was funny!
Guess I have a warped sense of humor!
So, yeah, a couple of turtle shenanigans
today. What fun we can have at Walt Disney World!!
We stayed for Illuminations: Reflections of Earth at 9:00 p.m. Please tell me why I have never seen this show before after umpteen trips to the World????? It was wonderful and brought tears to my eyes. Absolutely beautiful!
Somewhere in this day, we did make it over to the Magic Kingdom to turn in our quest cards for VMK.... just not sure when...
Oh, and I think this was the day that Bellboy and RomeNome almost got Jewel and myself banned from VMK! Shame on you, boys!!
AGAIN, no picture!! BUT the good news is.... we have pictures from our last day! (whew!) LOL!
