Friday, January 9, 2004 Day 6

Well, after 2 Kungalooshes, I slept like a baby. So much so, that I let Princess Mark take his time in the shower. We were getting a slow start, but I reasoned that it was ok- we had 3 more days to revisit parks, so we could chill out a little. Have I mentioned that each of these days little ol' me would make the trek to get everyone drinks in the morning? I didn't? Oh, well I don't want to toot my own horn... but I did! Even after I threw the lid to my mug away at the Magic Kingdom. I was dumping the ice, and thwump! I was VERY annoyed, but moved on with my life. (that was on day 3, BTW).
So we finally got to the bust stop, passing Team Cute (who were going to Animal Kingdom) on the way. We waited 2 MGM busses, then were on our way. I didn't tell you where we're headed... I bet you thought I couldn't remember. But I do! We're going to Magic Kingdom. No rope drop, though... Team Purple would NOT be happy. There is no WAY I can give you a ride order. We did everything... except Dumbo, Aladdin Rugs, and Slo-Carts. It was still cold, but we survived.
At one point, Eric and Mark wanted to see Hall of Presidents, but I peed instead. Then I played at the Frontierland Shootin Arcade and sat outside the Hall. When they were done, we had lunch at Liberty Tree again... I think everyone ordered the same things. WE really like this place! Mark was starting to gripe about our repeat rides (not the food, though- go figure). I dn't understand the problem- in my opinion man's natural state is on WDW rides. Any time not spent on them is a PROBLEM that should be corrected if at all possible! Oh well.
At some point mid-afternoon, we hopped the monorail (which really does smell like animals... I'm a horse girl who doesn't mind the horsey smells, but this smelled like- rhino would be my guess) and headed to Epcot. We were all TIRED and Eric and Mark were talking about going back to Adventurers Club that night. YIkes! We did more MS and TT, and squeezed in Energy sometime between. Oh, we also had to head to Living Seas... sigh. I should have WDW credit me for the time I spent in there. I would have them send me a check, but they get all my money, anyway. What a waste of time! WE had to wait in line for 20 min to get in. Then wait in a big holding pen. Then get on the hydrolators. THEN, I was minding my own buisness, looking at the Nemo fishies (do you think the Clown fish ever wonder where the popularity jump came from?) and this woman (or ogre, couldn't tell) ELBOWED me out of the way. I mean, her ELBOW made painful contact with my ribcage. On purpose. Man... I thought most cities had aquariums, but I guess in Ogreland, the only time you're ever going to get to see a fish is RIGHT NOT AND THERE BETTER NOT BE ANYONE IN YOUR WAY BECAUSE YOU WON'T GET ANOTHER CHANCE!! Whew, so I left. Boston has a great aquarium, Chicago has a great aquarium. I'll let Elbows have the Living Seas.. I was bored anyway.
We eventually ended up in World Showcase again (passing many many Code Betsy's on the way), and we were hungry. France almost got our vote, but I can't remember why we passed. Whaddya know, we ended up back at Rose and Crown. There was a 45 min wait, and we were too hungry to care. Oh, It was raining, too. So we hung out in the shops there, then ate. The rain stopped at some point, and our server INSISTED that we stay for illuminations. Well, twist my arm, mister. We stayed and it was great (my first time seeing it- no, really!). On the way home, I told the boys to give the Adventurer's my best and I went back to go to sleep. They had fun at the club, but where dissapointed in cast changes. Poor things.
It was a long day, and tiring, and violent. I had fun, but was getting worn out...
