Oh will I ever finish this trip report!!!!! Sorry it is taking me so long...I just type a day when I have time.
Wednesday-March 24th St. Thomas.\
Oh we have to get up so early.....Mickey wake up call at 5:00 a.m. I go out on the verandah and it is just starting to get a little light in the night. I can see St. Thomas in the distance and out in the middle of no where it seems is the most beautiful ship all lit up just sitting there...as I get closer I see it is the Queen Mary 2. She is absolutely beautiful and fun to look at. I have breakfast delivered after we do immigration check...so all I have to do right now is get everyone up and moving and showered. Down we go a little after 6 for immigration ....we are in the 2nd row...does not take long at all...20 minutes tops...our breakfast arrives to the room and then off we go to our excursion to Trunk Bay. It is a complete down pour all the way over to Trunk Bay...but it miraculously turns beautiful when we anchor. Wonderful snorkeling....storms in the distance but a glorious morning at the beach.....Down pour all the way back to St Thomas. Soaking wet , towels are heavy...we need dry clothes.
We dry off and go off to lunch at Topsiders. Then 2 kids decide to stay on the boat and we take one older kid and one younger girl shopping with us in St. Thomas....gets warm and muffy. The taxi ride is always entertaining. Oprah the donkey is out there again by the open market just like last time. I buy a few things and then we catch a taxi and head back for a traffic jammed ride back to the Magic. I can see the QM2 in the distance...I feel the week coming to an end....starting to feel a little sad. I know there will be other trips...but it still sets in.
We have dinner at Lumiere's. Do a little shopping and autographs and Isaac 15, the oldest wants to play Who Wants To Be a Mouseketeer!!!! Off we go for a fun filled evening. Enjoyed the show. Took the girls back to the room for some sleep. Isaac is a little sad because he wanted to win the cruise....the sadness is setting in for him as well....I think he has had a great week too!! Up I go to Quiet Cove for my evening beer, a few e-mails sent off and then to bed. This is the night the tropical party should be when everyone can sleep in..but no nothing is going on at all. Very quiet.
