Thank you for reading my very first review, (Well pre-dining review).
Whos Going?
The Disney Three are DH 38, DS 10 aka, the reason for no dining plan, and me DW and DM 37 to the fellas.
Throughout this review I will refer to DH as Beh. Were married 13.5 years and over time weve gone from calling each other by our names, to Honey, then to Babe and ultimately we ended up at Beh. I will refer to him as Beh, he will refer to me as Beh. For this dining review I will refer to us as: Beh Me, Beh Him and DS as The Baby or Papa.
Our DS will turn 10 right before our trip. He is our only child, slightly spoiled, very well behaved, responsible, a great student and truly the joy of our lives.
Max and Ruby are our pets. They are both Lhasa Apsos, Max will be 1.5 years old and Ruby will turn one on our trip. They are very good in the car; actually they love it. Max is larger than most Lhasas at nearly 30 pounds. Ruby is a dainty little thing at 14 pounds. They are both balls of love, sass and sweetness.
When and Where?
Well be driving from New Jersey to Maryland, to Fort Lauderdale to Best Friends Pet Care at WDW to our ultimate destination The Beach Club! What? Que? Are you crazy? Estan Locos? Yes or Si to all of it.
Our check- in date is August 16th and staying seven nights in a Club Level, Lagoon View room. We are very psyched. This is The Babys 9th trip, our second deluxe stay and our first Club Level stay.
Max and Ruby will check into a Vacation Villa at Best Friends and enjoy seven nights of luxury at their pet resort. It costs less to bring them with us than to kennel in NJ and truth be told, we would not want to be away from them for 12 days.
We will leave Friday, August 12th and drive to Maryland. My sister lives just outside of Baltimore and we figured driving there Friday night after work will give us a good jump for Saturday morning. On the 13th, we will leave my sisters at 4:00 a.m. and begin our drive. The plan is to avoid 95 south and take a more scenic route along the way. I want to stop at some good local restaurants, by that I mean dives where the locals eat as we trek south. This might be a smidge of a challenge with the pups, but the plan is to get take out and keep moving!
I will update this pre-trippie for as I finalize our plans. I am ofcourse assuming I have at least one reader.

Well likely stop at some pet friendly hotel along the way. We might need two rooms because Papa is allergic to any dog that isnt his

Our plan is to arrive in Fort Lauderdale Sunday afternoon and have a visit with my brother and four nephews until our Disney check-in day. We havent seen him and his three youngest in two years. We flew into Orlando last year and his butt was too lazy to come up to Disney. Well head north well before the crack of dawn with hopes of arriving in time for our first dining reservation.
Why no dining plan?
I really cant blame it all on The Baby. He eats very well for a kid. Papa loves seafood, all meats, sides, veggies, etc. He likes things like stuffed mushrooms and olive tapenade and swordfish and roast beef with horseradish mayo . Nothing makes him happier than heading out to Wegmans so that he can have samples. For those of you who arent familiar, Wegmans is a fancy supermarket I go to on occasion. The thing with him is, sometimes hell want chicken nuggets or just an appetizer or will share with DH and me.
DH and I are also watching what we eat. Beh Him recently lost 30 pounds; Ive lost 14 and have more to go. We didnt want to have to get dessert or snacks because we paid for it already.
Lately, I find myself ordering an appetizer and salad for my dinners out and being really satisfied. Beh Him might do this or he might want a steak, Cesars Salad and dessert. By the way, I could likely call this the, If there was a Cesars Salad, they at it, report. I dont get the fascination, but truly, Beh Him and The Baby love freaking Cesars Salad. They get it everywhere. Me, not a fan No white, creamy, tangy sauces or dressings for me. The most offensive of the bunch is mayo.

Where are we dining?
Were try as many new restaurant as possible, both Quick Service and Table Service. Here are our plans:
8/16: Tusker House (breakfast) and Captains Grill (dinner), well snack for lunch since we have an 11:30 breakfast and 5:30 dinner
8/17: Mama Melrose Fantasmic Package at 3:50, so well snack again for lunch after breakfast at the CL lounge
8/18: Beaches and Cream for lunch and Wolf Gang Puck Express for dinner
8/19: La Hacienda De San Angel for dinner, unsure about lunch
8/20: Tony Town Square for lunch- and Cape May Clam Bake for dinner. I am willing to pay the $36 for the Baby, because he really likes seafood and will likely eat $36 for Shrimp and Oreo Bon Bons!
8/21: Captain Cooks for lunch that Adult Grilled Cheese is calling my name and Rose and Crown for dinner
8/22: House of Blues for dinner. We always wanted to try it and snagged a $50 off $100 Restaurant.com coupon for $6
8/23: Check out day- well likely leave in the afternoon and are playing our dining options by ear.
We will also review the Stone Harbor Clubs offerings. Well hit it up for breakfast and before dinner each night and hope to catch it for late night snacks once or twice. Of course, all snacks will be photographed and included. Well also include all of the road food!
Thank you for reading! And if you can come up with a nifty title, let me know!
