Your son and puppies are adorable! That's so funny that Max is 30 lbs. My mom had a 'mini' dachshund like that. All his relatives were minis, but for some reason he was the mutant of his litter and was 23lbs. He wasn't fat, it's just how big he was. It was funny seeing him next to his father and brother who were both about 10lbs! The photo of Max and Ruby on Xmas reminds me of them!

Thank you! I took a picture of Max and Ruby having a standoff over a treat this morning. I'll post it after work today. You and I are at 2 weeks away. Technically I start vacation at 5 pm on the 12th. The minute I walk out of the office, I am done for two glorious weeks!

Hi! Thank you for the kind words and for reading. I have not started packing yet! Normally, I'd be all packed, but had some family stuff to attend to, my grandmother is sick. I missed work for three days and have a tom of stuff to get done.

We are still scheduled to leave on Friday for the Fort Lauderdale leg of our trip. I'll be a busy bee and think this will be the first trip where I don't clean my house before my trip.

Hi- we are on our way!! Left at 7 am instead of 4:30 like we hoped. Right now we are about 10 miles away from South Carolina. We'll drive to Georgia and stop. I only had 4 hours sleep DH had 2!

We packed snacks, drinks and sandwiches for the road! I have pics. We also just stopped at this place called Cook Out in North Carolina. It was fast food but so awesome! I had hush puppies and a pulled pork sandwhich. It was soo good. We plan on stopping here on the way home because I need pictures for you!

I'm using my iPad to type this so I probably won't do a live update but did want you to know we are on our way.
