Wow, Day 1 was a looooong day. We woke up a little sore, but ready to go. It was Blizzard beach day! We were at the bus stop by 9:30, and at the park a bit before 10am. We got a locker for our stuff- we were heading to Epcot after, so we had changes of clothes AND ziploc bags for wet bathing suits (yep, I DIS!). After changing, we got a good spot nearish to the wave pool.
We took the ski lift up and did Teamboat Springs. This slide is so much fun, but I always get images of flipping over so it freaks me out. anyway, it was fun. Next, we did tube slides, then the River of Dripping water. Eric and I noticed that the water that was freezing in May (the 'melting' iciles) was a more moderate temp in Jan. We were having a blast, I enjoyed this park much better without 100,000 degree sun blaring down AND up off the snow. It was a comfy 75-80ish. After doing the toboggan slides, Eric and Mark wanted to do Summit Plummit. I've already done this once in my lifetime, so I regretfully declined. It was fun watching the dazed wedgie-sufferers get to the bottom of the slide and stand there, dazed, as the lifeguard yelled 'get out of the pool!' Not once did one of these people realize they were being yelled at. I think the wedgie was up in their ear drums.
We were done with water park fun, and changed to head to Epcot. We waited about 6 AK busses worth of time. When we got to Epcot, we headed right to MS and got FPs, then stood in a 20 min standby. Did we enjoy it? Eh, it's kind of a dive ride. Next, we hustled to japan for some lunch. We went to the Tempura place- woah, this was a surprise hit! The three of us ate, making weird food-enjoyment noises. Sorry about that, if you were sitting nearby. We went back and used our FP for MS.
Mission Space was so much better than I even hoped! One thing we noticed: people getting off the ride would go the wrong way, and come out the entrance door. When they realized what they did, they would scoot around the back of the car (between the wall and the ride). This led us to speculate about what happened to the people stuck in the gears of MS. I guess going to Mars is way too exciting for people to bother with arrows and exit signs.
Grabbed FP for TT, then headed to the land. Mark's shoes had a chemical reaction with the rug in there. They formed some kind of glue that caused him to trip constantly. It was weird, but very funny. The line for Living with the Land was REALLY long, and we couldn't get a FP, so we went to Journey into (Your, our, their) Imagination. I like this ride, though I miss the original. We then saw HISTA, then power walked to make our 6 PS at Rose and Crown. We sat outside and had another great meal. Eric and I got our favorite- the Pie Sampler and Bass Ale. Mark had Fish and Chips and Guiness. Yummy! We left, and began a circuit of World Showcase. We rode Maelstrom, got French Pastries and watched Imaginum. We were in hysterics... she is hilarious! You can sort of tell the bratty kids by how they react to her... and she tries to teach them a lesson. Most of the time the kids don't get it, and I half expectged one of them to kick her to get his hat back. We made plans to come back another night.
Back to Future World for some TT, MS and SE before heading back. I feel like I saw a whole new side of Epcot this trip, and it it now my favorite park.

Day 3

Joyciemc,
Isn't that how it always is with the busses? You want to go to MK and 5 AK busses come, you want to go to AK and 5 MK busses come! How do those busses know where you want to go? It's a mystery!
:teeth:

Wow, you really pack a lot into your days!! Epcot is my DH's favorite and I have grown to love it also (nothing beats the MK for me though). Great report!

Yeah, I have Disney-Energy when I'm in there. Sleep is optional, and as long as a park is open, I'm out there!

I guess I'm still not getting the whole "dive" thing. I'll keep reading in the hopes that I understand soon.

Fish and Chips = yummy :teeth:
