What a GREAT day!!!! First, let me rewind a little bit to last night...Cirque!!!!! What an AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING (I can't say amazing enough!) show! It was incredible! I came back to the hotel all sorts of wired! If anyone has yet to see it, take the time to do so, you won't regret it! Anywa, so I set the alarm for 8am, yeah...right, get up at 9:15 call the concierge to see what time the bus to Epcot leaves, 10:15, uh oh, I better hurry up! That's the one thing I've found that I don't enjoy about this wonderful hotel, not being on property with Disney transportation. I walk out on my balcony and it's another gorgeous day... 80 and balmy, no rain, no humidity! LOVE IT! Get in the shower, run downstairs, grab a shuttle schedule, and head out to the bus, which is nice because when it does arrive, there's only 2 of us on it. My whole point was to get the Boardwalk and ESPN bar to watch the game. So, I get dropped off at Epcot in all my Steelers gear and decide while I'm there to trade my AP voucher in. I was originally planning on walking through Epcot and then over to the Boardwalk. Well, I have planned very badly because I made it there in enough time for the park to open and the lines into the park to be a very substantial size. Ok, plan B-take the Boardwalk bus. Ok..... sooo.... hmmmm... which bus stop is theirs? Cannot find it, Swan, Dolphin, Yacht Club or Beach Club. ????? What the heck! Okie dokie then... plan C. I walk over and wait for the MGM bus to come, YES, finally something worked out for me. Take the bus to MGM and then take the boat over to the Swan and Dolphin and walk over to the Boarwalk. Let me tell you...I sure did get my exercise today! I stopped at the General Store along my way to pick up some post cards and my mothers requested coffee thermos. Walk over to the ESPN club and my old friend from high school is in line waiting to get in. Perfect timing!! Doors open and off we go. We managed to get a table dead center in front of the big screen. NICE. Well, 7 hours, 4 pitchers of beer, and $138 later we head out and decide to go over to Epcot for illuminations. (By the way.....GO STEELERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THE BUS IS GOING HOME!!!!!) We go straight to Soarin, it said 65min wait but it was about 30mins. Very fun ride, it was my first time on it. Then my friend decided we had to walk all the way back to Germany for a pretzel because the other pretzels they sell around the world just aren't good enough. We get our pretzels, sit on the wall by the lookout on the water and relax for about a half hour. Then we decide to walk over towards the entrence to the world and view the fireworks from there. Very nice show, Illuminations has always been my favorite. I got some decent pictures, we were kind of in an akward spot so I'm sure I can get better when I go back. We decide to head out and part ways from there. Came back to the hotel and here I am talking to you lovely people. As for tomorrow... nothing definate planned, probably be my lay around and do nothing day, so I will definately take the time to post some photos for you. Tuesday it's MK and dinner with fellow DISer and solo tripper ThumpersTara. Well...that's it for tonight, I'll be sure to check in tomorrow!
