Left the villa at 9.20am and took Sara with us, we arranged to meet Phil and Paula there as we were going to have breakfast down IDrive first. Went to Ponderosa's, even though you can go up as much as you like, me, steve and sara only had the one plateful, billy however went back for second helping of sausages and then ice cream
what is it with kids? they can eat anything at anytime, jack had his fill ad then a bowl of fruit, cake and cookies, very good value here, one of my favourites for breakfast, once we managed the kids to stop eating we headed towards Seaworld once there we paid the extra $3 for the preferred parking, which is near the entrance and well worth the money especially if you've got young kids and buggys etc. Met up with Phil and Paula and walked to the Dolphins Cove, unfortunately we didn't get to touch any today, but just to see them swimming around is enough to make you smile.
We went onto the Shamu stadium then to see the show, billy wanted to sit in the splash zone, but not too near the front, luckily we didn't even get wet, this i have to say is one of my favourite shows of all time, the size of these creatures and the strength they have and still manage to look so graceful, is beyond me!!!
The queue when we got out of the shamu stadium for World Artic was stupid so we headed towards the manatees, which is my favourite mammel, apart from man, no on second thoughts, they ARE my favourite!!!!
they look so sad, i just feel like diving in and giving them a big hug! went into a few shops after and billy brought some things, snorkel, mask (he's got the bug for it since yesterday) we then headed towards Wild Artic and met up with Phil, Paula and Sara again, we decided to go for a bite to eat, had a scrummy steak and onion batch with fries, (well me and steve shared) very nice, but once we had sat down we realised how tired we both were from the last few days, so we decided to go back to the villa, as we still had plenty of time to come back to seaworld and do all the shows when we were more refreshed..... Sara wanted to come back with us, so thats what we done at 3.40pm, so we hardly done anything at Seaworld but we will be going back later thats a promise..... we definately need to chill a bit, you don't realise to you get to a park how tired you get when its so hot, mid to high 80's today, which is hot to me, especially when you're pushing a buggy aound, popped into Wallmart on the way back to get some goodies for tonight to munch on. Got back at 5.30pm and straight into the pool for a couple of hours with the kids. Phil and Paula got back at 7.30pm while I was in the huge corner bath with jack, i want one of these at home, i love them, my sunburn hurt a bit though on my back so i had to submerge very very slowly, but once i was under i didn't want to come out, but the water was getting cold and i was getting wrinkly, more than usual!!! Got ready for bed and started nibbling on the goodies we had bought, steve decided to take Jack for a walk at 9pm to see if he could get him to leep so i decided to do some ironing (god it feels like i'm at home) steve came back 20 mins later and jack was wide awake, even more so than when he left!!! we were all getting peckish about 10pm and decided to have a McDonalds, i had a mcchicken sandwich meal and the chicken was real chicken none of this processed stuff you get here, the fries were not as nice but the chicken made up for it, swilled down with a cold lager. Finally got jack off to sleep just gone 11o'clock god knows where he gets his energy from!!! we were not long behind!!!
