Davy's in Wonderland! The TR of a little boy's dream!

great update. I love Davy he's so adorable esp. with Chip and Dale! those pictures are soo cute. Glad you guys had fun. and not seeing Illuminations means another trip to disney!!!!

I've been to the 1900 Park fare. Prince charming wasnt so handsome. My family really didnt enjoy it at all. the only good thing was the step sisters.

Oh No! I was just hoping to try somewhere new for once. Any recommendations that are not in a park anyone? I don't want to waste any tickets since we won't get in until about 5 or 6 and we only have 2 park days. Its a mini-trip, but I still want to pack it full! :rotfl:

Well, do you want a buffet type thing??? Or does it not matter?? I did so many buffets last trip. But I would do Boma that was the best one I had so far.

I don't think it really matters- beyond my picky as poo husband! I swear, he is worse than a kid! As long as the place has at least something that is "American" like he will be fine. Both me and DS will try anything once and I love different cuisines!!

And go figure- Illuminations is eluding me again this trip! We have scheduled a family dinner at Chef Mickey's for all the kids (we are meeting up with DH's family from Jersey) at 7 pm. Go figure! Oh well- next, next trip! :rotfl2:

And I hope Davy still loves the characters! He was hating the Easter Bunny the other day..... :sad1:

Loving your trip report...I am so glad you guys are having sooo much fun! Your kids are too cute!!!

I love Chip & Dale & Davy was too cute in those pics! When we went in 07 Chip kissed me on the cheek & no one got a pic of it. I was heartbroken! That was the 1st of a few kisses I got from characters!

Looks like the lil' guy had an incredible birthday and thoroughly enjoyed his dessert.

He enjoyed every dessert- the entire trip! And that wasn't even his actual birthday yet! :lmao: His birthday is still 2 days away from where I am in the TR. He just got the star treatment everywhere we went. He loved it all too. His sister was pretty happy too- since she got most of his cupcakes! :rotfl:

Too funny.

I don't remember getting any kisses from the characters. I was too busy making sure Davy didn't run away and my DH wasn't being hit on by Daisy Duck again! :rotfl2: I did try to run away with Donald at Chef Mickey's though- does that count?

Yep! It counts! I was reading about character interactions at WDW & was crying my eyes out. I love how Chip & Dale got down to Davy's level!!!

your TR is great!! I always get kisses especially from stitch and chip and dale have taken me away when they were at tavern on the green :( man I miss the characters there :) the birthday cup he got sounded ssoo yummy I wanted one now :)

They were the only ones that I remember actually going down to him and picking him up like that. It was very special- especially to his mommy! :lovestruc I love that he was so happy at that time. We also got to spend a good amount of time with them too.

That yummy dessert had to be the best one all week! I tried it, even though it was smooshed and smeared- it still rocked! :lmao:

I will try to get to day 3 tonight. The first day of Magic Kingdom and my daughter's special surprise that was just for her and kept secret by me for over 3 months!!! I dunno how I kept it from her.... it was so hard! I figured the majority of the trip was about her brother turning one and his first trip- so Friday night was her special night. (We all got to join her though, even her brother!)

Also, the trip turns ouchy and much more complicated! :sad2:

Then in my opinion I'd try boma out they had a bunch of different meats. It was tasty. and much better then most buffets if you ask me.

Chef Mickey's is ok. Ive noticed that the character interactions was so fast, its like you have to hurry and take the pic before the character left the table. I hope Davy isnt afraid when you guys go back.

We liked Chef Mickeys. It was one of the better food places last time. Much better than the food at the Crystal Palace we thought. And Hubby is a big Goofy fan! :lmao: Its his fav and he requested we go back again. I have now changed my dinner plans for our first night- we have Ohana's at 8:05 pm now! I think I will like it, and we can catch the fireworks afterwards if we are relatively on time. Hopefully- if not, we have a decent window seat! :goodvibes

I wish we tried Crystal Palace last time. We did CRT instead and I have to admit after reading all the bad reviews it wasnt as bad it was pretty good. You must tell how Ohana goes when you return! That is one i want to try out. On one trip or another.

I can't wait to try it! We haven't done CRT either, but would like to let the DD try it at least once eventually. We liked Crystal Palace- but the food was better at Mickeys! It wasn't bad at Crystal Palace by any means, just not Chef Mickeys. The kids loved both needless to say! :thumbsup2
