I was gonna do another update tonight.... but now I am all depressed from reading Myasma's newest update. In tears actually. Sniff, sniff. She isn't doing well at all.

Oh no, I don't want to know until I after I post here. You are just ripping through this TR!!! I love it! None of this teaser stuff and stringing us along. (ahem, Amanda!)
You are obviously a creative brain, with the bribes, I mean, treats, and the Tink surprises. I definitely need to come up with a plan on how to dole out all the goodies they've received from the Big Gives.
I love the characters on the first morning, especially Daisy. Too funny!

Thanks for joining! I admit- I love crafty stuff! Bribery is also a special forte of mine! At least they don't really know its a bribe yet! I expect great behavior anyway, but its good to reinforce with goodies every now and then. Vacation is the perfect time!

And I have to move quick on the TR- its 6 months late!! I am afraid I will forget all the special details- so far, so good though! I have a great memory for random crud thank God. Now if it were actually important stuff- forget it! I forget to take my asthma meds, make dr apts and stuff- but I remember where we ate and what at Disney 6 months ago!! Go figure...

I'm working on another Big Give right now too! I have to limit myself or hubby goes nuts. I try to do one a month for right now. I'm doing the SAHM thing, so no extra income. But its so fun making these kids happy and esp when you get to see the pics on here!!

HAHAHAHA!!! Loving life today!! I called Disney just to see if perhaps I maybe had a pin attached to my name. I didn't, but DH had one for free quick service dining! Woot woot! I upgraded to table service and added a one day pass to get it all. Hurray!! I am officially a happy camper!

Thanks much! I finally thought I would try this TR thing and I think I like it! Good thing too- since we are going again in July! It will be uber hot, but we will take it easy.

The box of magic was great! I want to do it again this next trip- although it will be different without my daughter there.

I will try to get another update done tonight. I stress try. I need to make some signs for a friends business and I haven't all weekend... but the dis is so much more fun!

Feel free! Its a great way to get a box of presents down there without the kids knowing whats in it and it gets theme psyched about the trip too! And it stops the gimmees! That's the best part.

Ok- more PTR now!

We are leaving here around 10 am on the 6th of July. Should be a packed out week- hope Davy likes the car! I am taking him to the beach with my mom for the 4th of July in NC at my uncle's super cool (and free) beach house. That's a 5 hour drive already! We will get back on the 5th and head right back out on the 6th! Yikes!

We should arrive at PoP around 6 pm. Check in and drop off our stuff in our room and head over to the Grand Floridian for the 1900 Park Fare Dinner Princess thing. I wanted to see Prince Charming! Anyone been here yet? I dunno.... I am kinda second guessing my plans here! Then it will be back to the resort for the night.

Next day- I dunno. I was thinking DHS? It will be the 7th and a Wed. I will have to check and see if that is a busy day for that park. I really wanted to take Davy to the Playhouse Disney show and eat at Hollywood and Vine with him. I think he would love it. Suggestions?

8th (Thursday)- MK!!!! ADR at Chef Mickey's with DH's cousins- whom I have not met! We will do the park with them as well. Should be fun. They have 2 little girls and a DS who is almost Davy's age. Aleks so wanted to go with us to meet the "girls from the Christmas card" as she calls them! We always send each other Christmas photo cards of the kids, and that's the only way we have ever seen each other!

9th (Friday)- boo..... going home after hanging out at the resort for a bit. Eating a QS lunch in the cafeteria and letting Davy play in the water features. He loves water sooo much!

Those are my tentative plans at this point.

Awesome TR We drove from Houston in September 2008 to DW. it was an interesting trip to say the least. We were so relieved that Hurricane Ike passed up Florida and then it went straight for Houston

We also stayed at Pop and Had a blast!!!!

Hiya! And thanks much!
The drive is a pain, but worth it when you get there! I figured out the pricing and time with driving vs flying and with waiting around at the airports and magical express and all that stuff, it ends up taking about the same amount of time to get there as driving, but cost more. Go figure. So we drive!
It takes us about 6-8 hours depending on traffic and stops. Not too horrible. I love living even this close- means I can at least try to convince DH to go again relatively soon!

Alrighty then!! Let's get back on the TR train! Toot toot! (sorry... Davy has been watching chuggington today and saying "toot toot")

Ok! I last left off at us going towards the World Showcase and the Kim Possible Adventure. We still had some time to kill before our fast pass, so we hit Spaceship Earth along the way and we liked that too!

Next, we went to a KidCot fun stop in Norway and took Davy on Maelstrom. He loved it almost as much as Aleks. We rode this 3 times in two days she loved it so much!

Here's the KidCot pics: They were making a mask. I helped Davy of course! And I will also throw in a cute pic of Nana and Davy!

When our fast pass was ready to rock, we headed to Mexico where our adventure would begin. Aleks so loved carrying around the Kimmunicator and trying to solve the clues. She wasn't all that great at it, but she had fun. We'll just say adults are needed to figure this stuff out with an 8 year old who gets frustrated quickly! We ran around the Mexico pavilion for about 45 minutes or so. It definitely took us to places we never would have explored on our own and showed us different "clues" we never would have noticed on our own. It is a great addition to your day!

Next it was lunch time! Yummy! Since we were in Mexico, we ate at the Cantina across from the Pavilion. It was excellent.

Next we wandered around the World Show case- we saw the best story teller in China I believe it was. The kids loved her and she even signed their autograph books! She wrote Happy Birthday to Davy in her native language- Mandarin I believe she said.

After this, we were supposed to leave for the resort for a break-but then we realized how late it already was and how pointless it would be to leave when we had an ADR at Tuttu Italia in about 3 hours. By the time we got back to the resort and went swimming, we would be late for our ressi. So after walking all the way back to Future World and finally realizing this, we decided to stay. No complaints- except, "Man its hot!!" So we used our snack thingies and got ice cream!!

Then, even better- we found a water feature! The first one Davy encountered and man- he did NOT want to leave it! He loves water, swimming, playing, squirting- whatever- he loves water. Happy baby- until we had to drag him away kicking and screaming.....

After we dried off somewhat, we went to the Imagination Pavilion and went on Journey into Imagination with Figment- I so love him! He is my antenna bobber you know. We also did the Kodak fun pics thing were you e-mail your cool pics home. I thought I saved the pics.. Will have to check with DH. I hope I did- they were funny. Next we hit the character spot while Nana sat on a bench to rest.

Then we had to wander all the way back to the World Showcase again for dinner. We did a LOT of walking this day. WoW. But it was so worth the walk! We had the best meal of our trip here at Tuttu Italia!!! We had the greatest server ever and Davy was sooo happy! Once again- he had a birthday celebration. They sang happy birthday to him in Italian and of course, I had our server sign his autograph book.

Davy had to be changed into another outfit and wasn't too happy at this point since he made such a mess as you will see- and yes, I wrote Disney an e-mail about how great Andrea was to us!!

Here is Davy in all his birthday yummy glory! He got the best desert ever- it was a chocolate cup filled with chocolate mouse and it had a chocolate straw and raspberry glaze all over. YUM!

Outside Tuttu Italia:

We decided at this point to go back to the PoP and go swimming. Yes, we missed Illuminations both nights- but it gives us something to look forward to next time. By this point, we were all a little tired, esp Davy:

What a great end to a great day- and a great omen, or so we thought- for a great next day! Just wait- you'll see..........

I'm glad you were able to catch one more too! Hopefully Piper won't be in club med too long and you can catch right back up again.

That dessert rocked. I ate some of it before he smeared it all over the table. Thank God they had paper covering the table! He finger painted quite well. Very pretty!

Chip and Dale were some of my fav characters we met. Davy loved them and hugged them and smiled the entire time. It was great!

I've been to the 1900 Park fare. Prince charming wasnt so handsome. My family really didnt enjoy it at all. the only good thing was the step sisters.
