Yes, i know this is had nothing to do with WDW, but I'm soo excited. Daughter just got engaged about a hour ago. We really like the guy. And the dis boards are like my work colleagues.

Our daughter got engaged a bunch of years ago while we were on a Disney vacaiton. She did the college program, met a guy while there and they came back to Ohio so she could finish her degree and then on one of our vacations, yes, they both came along, he proposed to her in the MK where they first met.

Talk about nerves, he was carrying the ring all morning in his pocket, he asked us for her hand long before and wanted us along on the vacation, we were huge WDW goers anyway, and checking his pocket all day, sweating until the exact time and place they met, he got down on one knee, hundreds of guests all over, and proposed, brought tears to me and my wifes eyes, really a treasured moment for us and taped too.

Thanks for all the congrats. I had to tell someone and there isn't much family. And No, unfortunately there will not be a Disney wedding. In fact, it's gonna be hard to start plannng anything, because Dad has said no wedding unless she gets her degree. So she's trying to get everything finished by next June. But planning should be interesting, groom is a marine. But we are going to WDW this summer, it will be boyfriend 1st visit. He says he doesn't get excited about anything, but we'll see.
