On Tuesday, we went to Hollywood Studios. We ate a quick lunch near beauty and the beast and realized the show was starting in 10 minutes. I hurry over and ask the CM if my son could bring his drink in and she said yes. My daughter and wife as usual are lagging behind. When they approach, the CM asks my daughter if she would like to have great seats, go up to the front and receive a gift. She of course says yes. We weren't wearing anything Disney and just got lucky. Just wanted to share in case it helps anyone else.

Oh thank you for sharing. I definitely needed a feel good about Disney story today :thumbsup2

I've never been to Beauty and the Beast Live on Stage. Would someone care to explain how the rose thing works so I can be happy for the OP too :thumbsup2

"Princess of the Day" gets VIP seating down front for her party. At the end of the show, she is led down front to be presented a rose by the Prince.

If no princess has been chosen ahead of time for a given show, they will select someone on the way in.

That's great!

Anyone know if they ever select a boy? DS loves this show, and keeps asking if they ever choose a boy (he knows that even if they do, it might not be him). We've seen the show many times, and its always a girl (I understand that makes sense - for it to be a girl.)

TIA

Yes, we got pics and had our video camera in our backpack so were able to record the end of the show, which was a great way to capture the moment. It really made my daughter's day/trip.

I'm no expert, but I'd guess its always girls.

awww how cool is that?!

i love the CM's at beauty and the beast live on stage.
i'm visually impaired and so we walk down the ramp to the front and let them know and they always get us in the second row center so i can see everything.

I havent heard of princess of the day before - can anyone tell me what this is and how it is awarded?

OP - that sounds amazing!

I'm not sure about princess of the day at HS, but the following day, we did BBB in the morning and then had a 11:45 CRT reservation. We got to CRT about 20 min early and were the first in line. We were the first to get pictures with Cinderella and then they gave my daughter a "princess of the day sticker" and she got to lead everyone up the stairs to start lunch. The sticker didn't really stick too well on her dress, so she stuck it in her autograph book.

And it only rained once the whole time we were there. Very lucky trip!

My DD had this happen to her during our last trip. She was randomly selected as we walked in. Like the others said, we got VIP seating and she went down to the stage at the end to get a fabric rose. She also received a certificate that a CM had really taken their time in decorating to commentate the occasion.

We had lots of pixie dust that trip - she held Conderella's hand during the princess parade at Akershus, got to feed a grape to a bird at Flights of Wonder, participated in Festival of the Lion King, was princess of the day at Beauty and the Beast and both kids got to hold Piglet's hand during the parade at Crystal Palace.
