Daughter just turned 3, should I buy her a ticket?

I bought my DD a ticket when she was 3. No one ever asked for any type of ID. I bought it for my peace of mind. My DD is now 6 and my DS is 2. We are going in February and he won't turn 3 until April, so he doesn't need a ticket, YEAH. I did see some other people trying to pass their what looked like a 7 and 9 year old off as being 3. They had them in their unbrella strollers. The CM's weren't buying it. I understand kids being tall for their age, but come on.

If WDW has no requirements for proving your child's age, how can they turn away anyone for having a child that "looks" too old?

Thanks for all the replies. I've just placed an order for our 6-day hopper plus passes, and my 3-year old to be got one too.

Just in case anyone didn't read through all the posts on this thread. :D

Now, at a sit-down restaurant at Disney, they won't let a 25-year-old get away with a kid's meal, but at the counter restaurants? No problem

I am 27 and have ordered from the kids menu before at sit down restaurants at Disney. Not because I am cheap or anything but because I don't eat very much and it would go to waste. Or 2 because I don't care much for the food being served (coral reef for example) but hubby or the kids LOVE it so I sacrifice :)
