My daughter is starting as a Cultural rep for the Canadian pavilion in June. Could someone direct me to which board would be best for me to gain info about that? I don't think the Canadian one seems best.....:confused3

Yes, definitely take a look at wdwip.com, it has all the info you need on there and a discussion board.

You could just ask a Canadian Cast member.....

Hi:D I'm Dustin

If you have any questions, just send me a private message

I have a question for you Dustin.
As a Canadian appying for this international program, I know the former casting agency was in Ontario. Now it is in London.
Is it necessary to pay for a flight to London for an interview that is not guaranteed to land me a job? Do I need to go to London at all? Is there an interview that might take place in Canada?

(So maybe I have several questions!)

I applied today and I am curious about all the pre-expenses. I read about those expenses after the hiring is done, but there was no mention of these things I have asked here.

Thanks!

I don't think you need to worry about flying to london. I've been in contact with Yummy jobs and as far as I know they haven't set their Canadian interviews for this year yet, but I beleive they are working on it and I'm absolutely positive they'll follow the same recruiting patterns that Castaway did. They usually visit BC, Alberta, and some of the east coast - Quebec, Toronto and Nova Scotia.

Thanks Brynna,

I was unable to look on the wdwip.com website since it was down, but it's up now, so maybe I will get more questions answered that burn in me!

I have applied, studied for my interviews, had my phone interview and been invited to the final interview at the end of October of this year...
I have found that the best site to gain information on the cultural program is definitely disneyinternationalprograms.com

There are links to the in-country contact for wherever you live, and they are AMAZING at getting back to you with the best attitude and most accurate and informative answer to your questions. I have had a lot of great correspondence with my recruiter.
