Dateline on Wednesday

Did anyone happen to watch Dateline last night? I fell asleep and missed the end of it. I was wondering if they father went to court yet and what the outcome was and what happened with the mother? I knew I shouldn't have tried to watch it in bed.

He pleaded no contest and if I am not mistaken he got 10 years probation but got their son Baily back. The mom is also in the process of fighting for joint custody of the other little boy......
Do you think he did it?

Oh, I'm glad someone else saw that show.

I believe the father. I really do think it was an accident.

I worry about the boy who dropped the baby. During the show they showed him long enough for him to say "I tripped over my shoelaces."

When they showed the family walking together and at the park the older boy was kind of left in the background. I can imagine he must have to deal with a lot of guilt. Poor kid.

I agree to it being a terrible accident. I hope they brought that poor boy to see a counselor to help him deal with the guilt. Poor baby, boy and family. My heart ached for them. I don't blame the dad for pleading no contest. You never know when some "do gooder" will be on the jury and the ending could have been even more tragic for this poor family. I pray they get the other little boy back.

The scary part about that whole thing is that it could happen to ANYONE. An accident happens and all of a sudden your on trial praying for your life.....
Take DELSWIFE for example if EM would have gotten hurt when she fell out the window who knows where she might be today. ue: (just kidding)
