Dasani Girl is back! With a baby, pregnant & pics! it's an update, no lie!! 7/20

I sent you a message on facebook with my twitter info. :) I don't do a whole lot on twitter. But it's basically the status update part of facebook. You just kind of type in what you're doing or put up a random photo and whatnot.

I've never been on Living with the Land (at least not that I can recall) and was sad when I saw it would be closed. Oh well.

We weren't planning on riding Splash Mountain either. Too cold out!

Test Track with me closed a few days before we get there so I hope it reopens on schedule!

Which is your favorite park? Least favorite? Darren's favorite and least favorite? Favorite rides? Rides you hate?

Yeah...I'm bored and nosey.

Heather-I hate to say this because it was everyone says, but you just have to play with it. I never read the manual and I take some awesome picture if I do say so myself. I hope you have an amazing time and get some fabulous pictures.

Also check out the photography board on here, there are some awesome tips, I found that board really helpful.

HTH!

Yay for 19 more days!!!:banana::banana: It's going to be SO much fun to see it through the babies eyes!!!:cloud9: Hmm....all you need to do it play Disney music...I never thought of that!! Will try it with my DH , too!! LOL!!;)

I am SOOOOOO EXCITED FOR YOU!!!!! Have fun planning your trip... I's be going CRAZY at this point lol

you know that we took parker when he was 9-10 months old, so a few tips.

all parks try for rope drop.

in MK

do dumbo first, then peter pan, and the other kiddy stuff, in fantasyland...ours loved those rides.

and also loved the characters in toontown...we got there as soon as it opened usually an hour after the rest of teh park.

when nap time is nearing, we went on buzz, and he was out, then did TTA and carousel, slept thought them all.

and my wife loved the baby centers, they were great for him.

dont want to bore you too much, so will give tips later on other rides in other parks.

we also did hte train, both parades, and pirates with ours.

HI Heather! How fun another WDW trip for you and the 1st for your DS!! It's great that you'll be driving and can bring all the needed baby supplies. That will help a lot.

Do you have any dining plans or must-dos you want to share??

hey Dan, I'm taking these all in for when I have a little one :thumbsup2

it sounds like you had it down pat

Happy New Year, Heather!! I'm subbing! Looking forward to hear how our little Pillsbury dough boy, aka Daddy's Mini-Me, enjoys his first trip to see Mickey!!!

We just booked today for our FIVE-PEAT to the Dolphin this June. DH started getting melancholy that this was the last summer before college planning for DD and wanted to take her one more time while she was still "just a kid".... he's such a softie... (I also think he's worried about losing his thrill-ride partner. She's such a "Daddy's Little Girl"! :hippie:)

I'm here! =D Looking forward to your trip and he is soooo very cute! I can't wait to see all the great pics you get with your new camera! :goodvibes

hello:)

I'm here to read all about your little one's first trip to WDW. I'm sure he is going to love it:lovestruc:lovestruc

Sorry I haven't updated in a few days. Darren is sick and I've been so tired and trying to get the house clean and organized before our trip. I will have an update soon!!

Hi Heather!

I've sort of been a lurker on your other reports...actually I think I might have posted once a long time ago. Anyway, just signing on because I can't wait to hear about Brayden's first trip to see Mickey! I'm staying at CBR this weekend....my first time since I was in high school over 10 years ago. My mom and I are taking my niece and nephew to celebrate their birthdays which are both this week. I'll try to give a little report on the resort when I get back if you like.

When my niece was 9 months old, we all went to Epcot. She went on most of the slower rides - the Land, spaceship earth, figment, mexico. She seemed to like them. I'd probably start with the shorter rides and go from there. Oh and Nemo! That's a cute, slow ride. Are you doing any character meals?

Looking forward to more...

P.S. Brayden is A-Dorable!

Hi!!! Thanks for posting! I'd love to hear your report on CBR, and any pics you take of the resort. Thanks so much!

I can't wait to take Brayden on Nemo, I really think he'll like that ride. No character meals planned though, it's just not in the budget this trip. Next trip for sure though! :thumbsup2

Living with the Land could be called boring to some, but I like it. Oh well. Next time!
I hope Test Track opens for y'all! I love Test Track.

My favorite park is Magic Kingdom, hands down. Animal Kingdom after that. It's kind of a tie between DHS and Epcot for 3rd. I love them all though. I don't have a least favorite! I think Darren's list is about the same as mine.

Our favorite rides are the TTA (gotta love it lol. Any reason for me to sit down is ok with me!), Pirates, Splash, Space, BTMRR, Philharmagic..well, basically all the rides. There really isn't any I don't like, but I could do without the Backstage Tour at DHS. It's just lacking. They need to add new stuff!

Yeah, I understand that. It's easier to learn hands on than reading a manual. I hope I can get some good pics though! I have been lurking on the photography board. I get lost there though lol. All the pro talk scares me!

subbing! Your trip is so close! You are going to like CBR, it's so pretty! :)

Thanks so much! I'm sure we will love it.

I know, I CAN'T WAIT!! I hope he loves it! Let me know if the music thing works on your DH haha

I am SOOOOOO EXCITED FOR YOU!!!!! Have fun planning your trip... I's be going CRAZY at this point lol

THANK YOU!!!!!!! I don't really get the chance to REALLY think about it, but we're going in a little over two weeks! I need to make a packing list.

Hi! Thanks so much! I hope he does!

Thanks so much for the tips!!! How did Parker like Pirates? I am kind of iffy about that drop.
your welcome

he did not mind it at all, i knew it was coming, so i just held him really tight.

in MGM, at rope drop when everyone was running to the TSM, we stopped at the characters that were coming out at the hat in the middle, no lines and saw a bunch really fast.

however this makes your wait for TSM a little longer

on TSM, i put him on my lap, they have to straddle your leg, and the bar also held him in.

i held him because the ride turns very fast in between games...and before we would start moving, i would hold his head against my chest so it did not hurt his head moving so fast. it kind of jerks you around

he also loved the animation acadamy playing with the pencils and drawing on the boards.

AK we did not go on the safari, not sure how bumby that would be for him.

but he loved the other stuff there...

the baby center in MGM is kinda small, it is located in the building to your left when you enter the gates.

they had 2 nursing rooms, and a changing room, with a small TV room, it got a little crowded in there sometimes...

AK had private nursing rooms and had a big place to unwind and relax.

and i think all of them had extra baby supplies if you forgot things, well except MGM dont remember if they did or not.

i am sure they charge for htem though

in AK it is located to the side of hte shops before you cross the bridge to the safari ride, and past pizzafari

epcot it is in the building between test track and mexico.

MK next to crystal palace and caseys hot dogs

If I'd never been to Disneyland, MK would be higher on my list. But overall...my list goes...
Disneyland
Animal Kingdom
Epcot (but it basically ties with AK)
Magic Kingdom
California Adventure (it will easily tie MK once they do all of the new stuff)
Hollywood Studios.

I really think HS only has a few good attractions. And the theme is just "eh" for me.

I'm glad AK is high on your list! So many people don't like it but we really loved it on our last trip.

TTA is one of my favorite rides too!!

Went to Disney with a 14 month old back in '08. There used to be a list on disneyworld.com of Pre-school appropriate rides (really pretty much anyone too short to ride the big thrill-type rides). I'll see if I can find it for ya. :D

I"ve been a lurker on your past trips.. I am so excited to read along with your plans for this trip.

Your family is beautiful... especially the little guy! :surfweb:

I too must come out of lurkdom to post. I have read some of your previous TR's and have enjoyed them. Can't wait to read about Brayden's first trip to the world. He is GORGEOUS by the way!!

Oh he can ride TSM?? I didn't think he would be able to. Did you put 3D glasses on him?

I'll probably be using the baby centers, thanks for letting me know where they're at. :thumbsup2
