DAS renewal at Disneyland, non AP holder

Hi all,

I was just at Disneyland in June and I got a DAS due to a chronic medical condition. I'm going back in October (yay!) and I am wondering if there is a renewal process in place for non AP holders. Will they have record in the system if I only used a 5 day ticket? I still have the ticket if that helps. I know they took my photo and info, so maybe its stored in a database somwhere I hope.

Anyone with experience in this situation?

I can only talk about disney world went before I got my AP and used the DAS and I just told the CM that I had a DAS before and she just scanned my ticket and was fine the next time I went I had to explain why I needed a DAS card all over again. I would just tell the CM that you had one before and that you still need one be ready to briefly explain why you need a DAS card again and when they do not ask you then that will be something that will be a little easer for you.

The information is stored with your profile on the Disney site, not on your ticket.
They may sometimes have to redo the information, but in most cases, it should still be there.

Even if your DAS profile is still present, they may still ask if your issues are still the same (some people have temporary disabilities and may not require DAS in future visits)

Our experience in getting a new one was that they re-asked the qualifying questions at DL. It was actually much tougher than the first time and I was getting a bit panicked. But it seemed like once they determined we qualified, the process was quicker on the renewal.

Not sure if DL and WDW share that kind of info. I don't need a DAS, but I am a Premier annual passholder (I get all six parks on both coasts). I have so much trouble trying to set up anything on the DL site since I bought and activated my pass at WDW.
