DAS and rider swap

we have always used DAS (or GAC before) for our son. Now this year for the first time he wants to try a couple bigger rides. My question is he wants to do soarin-If I get a return time for it for him, but one of us needs to stay off with a younger child, will they give us a rider swap for the one that stays off? Since the new system has us technically waiting our turn out of the line, I'd assume they would, but unsure if anyone has experience with it.

Yes, they will give you rider swap with DAS. We utilized it many, many times on our trip a few weeks ago. A member of our group hadiscussion to utilize DAS because her blood sugar dropped dangerously low a few times and we had to leave lines to get her taken care of. After we got the DAS, we had time to sit and eat a snack while waiting on our return time. Anyway, some of the rides we rode were too big for DD (3). So the older kids rode once with their mom, then we swapped and I rode again with the kids.

Yes. We had a similar situation and no issues with getting a rider swap. My 4 year old was thrilled to ride twice!
