I did not realize that the holiday pricing would be in effect for our May 31-June 6 trip. I saw the list of restaurants on allears.net... so I went through and changed up my spreadsheet with the new meal cost.

I had decided it was cheaper (just a little) to use DDP plan and then pay OOP for our 4 character breakfasts...


But with the dining surcharge it flipped my number and now DxDDP is a little cheaper. Not much... like $3.

It appears that it is going to be a wash for me to use DDP or DxDDP. (Still saves $300 from all OOP) Now I am thinking about switching to DxDDP just so I don't have to pay OOP.

UGH! I had this all figured out and now I am back to the drawing board b/c of holiday pricing. But thanks for informing me. I would rather know now than when we get there!

That was the deciding factor for me since we will be there over Mothers Day weekend and the meals we had planned were going to be raised so the dining plan became more economical

Ok now a Deluxe Question

My card will say 2 adults/1 child right? So I can only order 3 meals at a time? They won't let me order say 2 adult meals and 2 kids meals so my 2 1/2 year old can have his own? (I am talking CS.. nearly all our TS are buffets so that is no big deal)

What is DH and I went separately in the line and each order an adult meal and a child meal? I really don't see this being an issue as my 2 and 3 year old really eat very little and we are having one buffet a day for them to fill up on! I promise I am not trying to beat the system just figuring it out. I don't want to buy my 2 year meals OOP (if we need to, I don't know!) and then have credits left over!


Now for snacks! If we do deluxe we will have 36 snack credits. (3 people, 2 a day, 6 nights) Can those only be used 3 at a time? or if we are getting ice cream for a snack can I go ahead and get 4? They will share meals ok but I can guarantee they won't want to share an ice cream cone!


Refillable Mugs... are there choices besides sodas to put in there? Neither of my kids drink soda.
