Thought you might like to see the photos from the barber shop.

We popped in on Thursday and made an appointment for Friday morning.

Jamie loved it and his skin was so soft and he smelt gorgeous, you can buy the cologne I think it was 24 euros. The shave was 16 euros. Jamie is convinced that something like this would do really well here in the UK and that his friends would pay that kind of money easily for the experience. Mum paid on this occasion. lol

We had a wee visit during our guided tour this week and DH and DS both had shaves in there a few years ago. DH wasn't too impressed to be honest, but I think it had more to do with it being really cold. I really love the feel of the place

Don't think I have ever seen it open.

We asked in city hall and they told us when it was open whilst we were there. If I remember correctly we didn't book, you just turn up when it's open and wait your turn.

The insurance to be able to do it (cut throat) is sooooo expensive before I had DD the salon I worked in used to do it but had to stop because of the insurance.

I tried to get DH to do this on our last trip, but he said it reminded him too much of Sweeney Todd!

It's a shame as I'd loved to have had a proper nosy around inside, it looks beautiful!

You can book by ringing the Emporium, I've put the number on here before, the barber's name is Dominico. I did ring before we went but he wasn't there that day, so we decided to chance it and called in the first morning, he couldn't do it that day, but could the following day.

I did mention to Jamie that the Cable Car Bake Shop wasn't too far away
