DAP POPpers...carpooling or cabsharing? Updated with list

It occurred to me that there might be someone else staying at POP heading to the seminar on the Friday morning of DAP. I would be interested in sharing a cab with others or contributing to someone's gas money...anyone interested?

If there are a good number interested, I would be more than willing to arrange for the appropriate number of cabs for that morning.

So looking forward to DAP!!!

UPDATE: We'll meet at 8 a.m. across from Everything POP's outside entrance at the bus stops - rentals will be in the guest check in parking lot which is a stone's throw from where taxis would come.

I'll gather a list of people through this thread and then get cabs coordinated...I think leaving POP at 8:00 am should be early enough. I'm sure there are others who will be interested.

I have been off the boards for two weeks. My company got bought, and the new company dosent allow the DIS at work. And I have been moving and getting my new house set up so I have not been online for a while.

So I hope it is not to late to sign up. I would like to be able to share a cab with anyone if needed. I will be the only one from my group going to the seminar.

Not too late! I added you to the list...gotta logoff now, as work calls. I'm on the DIS at work only for a short time on my lunch and only some days. Sorry you can't do even that...it's a nice distraction at times.

So how are we going to know if we have a ride or are sharing a cab? I guess everyone will have a ride with the people who are renting cars. Is the person staying at ASM willing to pick someone up at Pop?

Looks like one cab may need to be hired, but with Scott and I having rented cars most are taken care of.

I would say we all agree to meet at 8 a.m. at the front of POP...I'll find out if cars can drive into that front area or if it is just for the buses and taxis.

UPDATE: Anne is right, I checked out the resort map and there is guest check in parking just on the other side of the bus stops, so I would say we meet there (across from Everything POP's outside entrance) which is a stone's throw from where the taxi would come.

Anne - I updated the list to include you...as for Tracey, she may have had someone from ASMu get in touch with her for a ride.

We still have time...it'll all get sorted out.
