It was $90, but I had a 20% off discount from a photopass birthday gift from a previous trip so it came out to $75. Not the best price , but I really wanted that cover and theme.

LOL. And yes, I am in Massachusetts! Home for me is really PA, but I never left MA after I finished school. So I'm living on the North Shore right now and loving it.

So, I just got our guest book in the mail and I am in love with this book! I ordered it through the Disney Photopass website. They had a wedding-themed one so I had to get it! It came very fast and the print quality is very nice. I really love the paper too, it's one of those luster-pearl papers. Here's some tidbits:

I'm officially done assembling our wedding invites and they went out today! So now I finally get to share our design. They were done by Larissa of Moya Lara. She did a fabulous job! I can't wait for our guests to start getting them in the mail.

I had my Mommy hand write all the addresses, because I've always loved her handwriting. (Can you believe that's how she writes everything?!):

So, I'm excited at the thought that we're going to be getting replies soon! I made our RSVP date for October 1st (Disney World's 40th! ) A little more Disney magic, even though noone will know except me, haha. Up next is a vendor review for the invites!

Moya Lara :: Exquisite Wedding Invitations (www.moyalara.com)

I contemplated designing my own invitations, but I decided that adding on all that extra stress just wasn't worth it. So I took what feedback I had already read from Disboards and decided to send and inquiry email to Larisa of Moya Lara :: Exquisite Wedding Invitations in Mid-November 2010. She got back to me promptly and sent me a questionnaire to gather what we were looking for in a design.

Now don't get me wrong, I am so happy with my invitations and working with Larisa was worth it, I just think a lot of our communication got lost in the process. We talked solely by email, and with the busy rush in our own lives, we didn't always hear back from each other right away. In fact, months went by in between our emails.

So, I got our invitation preview at the end of January 2011. She was very supportive with me wanting to tweak anything in the design and was wonderful in offering suggestions. We placed the deposit to move forward in February 2011, got the final preview in June 2011 (note the time gap...!), placed the order and then finally received our invitations June 29th, 2011.

Overall, I'm VERY pleased with my invitations! I would use Larisa over again in a heartbeat...I just wanted to express my concerns with the process. If you plan to use this vendor, just be wary of the timeline. I'd say if you are a year out from your wedding date, you are safe. However, any less and you might be pushing it...

My wonderful invitations by Larisa!!!:

Cost: The deposit was $175.00, and then from there we had the 3 previews before we finally placed our order. The invitations were priced at $9.00 each and we ended up ordering 64 invitations. The deposit money went towards our final payment, which ended up being $401.00. Altogether, the price was $576.00, excluding postage.

Grade: A-
I highly recommend Moya Lara :: Exquisite Wedding Invitations. The work is incredible and beautiful in person, however, the slower-than-desired process is why I'm giving a less than perfect grade.
