DANG! Dad's a cheapscate! QUICK SERVICE ONLY? (Arguments FOR QSDP)

SEDF, I will be looking forward to your review of the Moderate. My favorite is POFQ, has a great pool for your kids and other features. No more kids so we do not need the fancy pool though.

I do not care for the Deluxes. We visit all the resorts during the holiday season so I have been to them all, mulitiple times.

I require a small resort, easy to get around, easy for me to drive to and from, and prefer to stay for extended periods of time so I am guessing I will be a Value person forever now. Been there, done that on many Moderates and they were good in the day but that day has passed.

It is hard for me to find treats that I will not want to eat on the trip home. I dislike fudge. I would love the cookies. You can have my share.

My experience has been that the QSDP is... magnifique! :thumbsup2 I am another who won't buy the dining plan, but love to have it for free. When I had free regular dining the trip was all about the ADRS -making them and showing up for them. Having said that, we really did enjoy the superb meals. In fact when we went to WDW this past May and stayed at a value with only free QSDP, I though long and hard about buying an upgrade to regular DP.

I'm so glad I didn't! I love the flexibility of the QSDP. The free mugs were great. Plenty of snacks. All four of us pretty much just ate whatever we wanted whenever we wanted all throughout the vacation. Thank goodness the vacation ended when it did or else I would have gained a ton.

I hope the QSDP is offered again. The only thing I might do differently is splurge on a TS character breakfast at CM or CP. I have a lot of Reward Dollars to use on the next trip.

SEDF, so BC is a deluxe, goes to show what I know. I guess thinking upon it would be.:lmao:

Zippa, having run the numbers on 'free' dining I have come to the conclusion that I am really only getting one QSDP for free but that is fine by me. I do not think that even I, as thrifty as I am, could feed us each for about $15 a day and it is so convenient. I would not pay full price though as for that price I know many places we could eat that we like even better.

Now if they will just offer some better options for the CS life would be good. Options for the many desserts come to mind.
