Dang! 100 Degrees!!!

<font color=navy>I heard on the radio today that it's supposed to be in the high 90's, and in some areas 100 degrees here in the LA basin!! Can you imagine walking around Disneyland in 100 degree weather?

It's 8:20 here, and it's 70 degrees.

I'm sitting here w/all the windows open & the lightest of clothes. Isn't it autumn yet? Isn't it supposed to cool down at this time of year?

Come on over MJ, we have been 103 and higher all week. AC is still on full time! But I look at it this way, I can sit outside and do the trick or treat thing with out getting cold!

34 degrees here...this evening we froze watching my sons team at soccer practice...and then the light rain made things even more pleasant.....I am SO jealous of you!!!!!

(on a positive note...I came home to a warm fire in the woodburner and my DH made me a hot cup of tea.....mmmmmmmmm)

Wow Mary Jo! It's not even that hot down here in Florida! We're sitting at 53 degrees this morning.

Well, according to my aol temp, it says it's 63 degrees here right now, and it's almost 6am w/90% humidity. We're supposed to get up to almost 90, and we're pretty close to the ocean west beaches, so are typically cooler than the rest of LA, especially when you get closer inland. The valleys and deserts will be over 100 (shoot, just as bad as Mickeyfan1's Arizona!)

The Santa Ana winds are kicking in, and that just brings more hot air, which is not good for the wild fires going on right now (3 of them in our area).

I don't have a/c, but my work does!
