Just watched. I’m happy with those six teams. I still hope the final three is Charli, Gabby and Wayne. I really want to see what Mark comes up with for a freestyle.

Tyra is so annoying and makes so many mistakes. I don’t remember Tom ever having issues, she has multiple per episode. Last week when Len said “what is she talking about” after her club comment.

I felt the right people went home. I loved the choices of songs and enjoyed most of the dances. I can’t even put into words how I feel about the routine Daniel did. Trevor has come such a long way.

We all know I was extremely grumpy about her being a very experienced dancer coming onto the show. That said, she is just mesmerizing to watch. Mark’s choreography is just amazing and that last tango they did was off the charts! I had to watch it again the next day it was that good.

I admit that I really want to see him do a freestyle with a capable dancer which he hasn’t had since Kristi Yamaguchi and Shawn Johnson. Somehow he became the “safe” partner for ultra religious Christian dancers (probably because of his own faith) but none of them have been that good. His choreography pulls them up as far as the top three, but they all drop out against better dancers. IMO, his multiple 2nd place finishes were more about how good Mark is than the “star” dancers.

I would prefer Wayne or Shangela, but I think that Charlie has it in the bag.

Yes, absolutely. Even if Charli falls on her face, and Wayne is flawless and has never danced better in his life, the judges won't see the skid marks on Charli's face, they will just gush over how fantastic the dance was.

These are the stats I've been meaning to post.

The Disney stock price is at a low of $95 per share. The last time it was down to that price was back in July 2016 and again right before the pandemic in 2020. It reached an all time high of $184 in Jan 2021 when people were sitting home during the pandemic, streaming Star Wars & Marvel movies and starting to come back to the theme parks.

Well, Disney can't help the gas prices, the rise in airline prices & inflation of everything, so that people will not come spend money at the theme parks. They DO know, if they can get more people to stream their content, they make money.

Charli D'Amelio on TikTok has 148.7M Followers 11.2B Likes

Heidi D'Amelio on ikTok has 10.1M Followers 103.5M Likes.
This is why Heidi was made sure to stay up until the week before the Semi-Finals.

Joseph Baena on Tiktok only has 74.9K Followers 918.8K Likes

Arnold Schwarzenegger on either TikTok or Twitter has about 5 Million followers on each. So, even if he showed up at the show or said something on social media about Joseph's dancing, it wouldn't have made a dent.

No wonder that Joseph was toast when it came down to him or saving Heidi for a few more weeks.

Wayne Brady has on TikTok a paltry 2.5M Followers 14.7M Likes. Less on Twitter & Instagram.

The only real competition is behind the scenes. How can Disney Plus continue to tap into Charli D'Amelio's followers?

Disney knows that if Charli D'Amelio's fans & followers are happy with her winning DWTS, they may be happy enough to continue to watch other stuff on Disney Plus. At 148.7M followers, if even HALF to a third stay for another few months times $7.99, you do the math.

Charli wins. She has happy followers, who may make Disney Plus happy. Win for the three of them.

Oh yeah, and if Charli does the DWTS tour, again her followers may go to watch her.

Wayne can't, he has a busy career to get back to.

Daniel will get cast in another Oscar caliber film.

Gabby would do the tour. But her fame will mostly last until the next Bachelor/ette airs.

Shangella is wonderfully flashy and spectacular. But s/he is not in the caliber of Charli & Wayne (in my opinion.)

Oh, and for those of you who say this is a game show and the show is legally bound by certain rules & regulations to stay honest. It's not. I looked it up. (I post an Emmy Award Live party thread each year. I noticed when I post a list of the nominees that there is a game show category, and a "Reality Competition Program" category, which DWTS is in.) It is NOT classified as a game show.

Tom Bergeron was even nominated several years for DWTS in the category of "Outstanding Host for a Reality or Reality-Competition Program."

Tom also won an Emmy and was nominated several times for "Outstanding Game Show Host" for Hollywood Squares. So, again the differentiation to a man whose done both game shows and DWTS.

(The Emmys also say there are different elements to each category. Games must have "game elements that primarily take place in studio and involve mental challenges." and reality competitions shows are based on reality-style, skill-based competitions.)
