I liked Alexis but I wonder if she didn’t have the ability to dance the whole thing and stood around with the giant lollipops.

Frankly, I thought Joe did a better job at the Tango than Bobby. He actually danced instead of just standing around watching his partner gyrate.

I think they knew something was off earlier, in the final dress rehearsal. The lighting was too bright & cloudy in the camera. I could barely see them dancing for the first part. I think the lighting was set that way on purpose to hide them a bit.

It isn't fake. She and her boyfriend just broke up because of Alan.

Maybe it isn't fake, but they are young 20 somethings and Alan is about to go on a very long tour. Not guaranteed to last. I voted for her though, I'm tired of the women leaving every week.

I thought Keo was going on tour, Val must have taken his spot. Nice of him to go with his fiancee.

It was Joe's best dance, really. Still not great. Thought the band screwed up a lot of songs tonight, or the sound team. Or maybe they were just bad songs.

Hey guys! I haven’t been on in ages, but I’ve been half following along this season so I thought I’d jump back into the chat

I’m a HUGE country music fan, but I’m on the fence about country week...I think most of the songs don’t seem to fit the dances. I do think Milo and Witney hit the jackpot with their song though-its a great song and I can totally picture a foxtrot to it! Evanna also has a great song.
Burning Man is one of my favorite songs, so I’m disappointed that Joe got it...I also cannot picture a tango to it.

Isn’t somebody else on this board from Massachusetts? I didn’t get to watch Halloween night bc the football game was on ABC...I love my pats but I wished I could have watched both at once!

This is the first country night they ever have had. It’s a tie in for the cma awards this next week since it’s a milestone one, I forget what year I think 25, but it’s to tie in with that.

A Texan who doesn't like country music? Consider yourself lucky they don't ban you from Texas! When I moved down here and didn't like iced tea, I got lots of dirty looks.

I'm a couple weeks behind on DWTS-is it true that Mary Lou is gone, but "Grocery" Joe is still there? If so, it must definitely be rigged!

Yep, I'm a native Texan; and I used to be a DJ for a country music radio station. I have had my fill of country AND western. Lol.

Edited to add: Yes, it's true. No more Mary Lou and probably a couple more weeks of Joe. Rigged.

I like the old stuff. And I love me some Willie Nelson. New country music just doesn't do it for me.
