LM - at first apple was very stingy about music but now you just put your cd in your laptop and that music goes to your iTunes which syncs with your phone. Almost all the pictures you see on my FB page are done with my 4s. So high quality.

Hey... merry christmas, happy new year... all that stuff I missed...
I'm not going to try and catch, up , just stopping in to say hello.. stay warm.. hoping to get home tonight and build a fire... get cozy, and eat chicken soup.... (in my dreams...) my night will probably not go anything like that.. but wishful thinking. Back from my cruise,,,, wiish I was still there... not really.... It was eventful... but not the cruise we were hoping for... we're kinda like I want a "do-over" ... the weather was not great.. so it ruined the excursions we planned, and the ship was really rocking... (not in a good way). The good thing.. we did relax, and the hot tub was nice... my DH said he wants to plan another one... so, I guess that's good.

My parents have had a really bad week. My Dad is Type I Diabetic and has been on dialysis since late July 2012. He goes 3 days a week, MWF. On Monday they almost sent him to the ER because he was dropping things. Apparently he was also slurring his speech over the weekend. On Tue., Wed. nights he was hallucinating during the night. Thursday my Mom called the Dr. for the second time that week. She hasn't been sleeping due to my Dad hallucinating/talking in his sleep. The Dr. said that my Dad could either go into the hospital then and have dialysis in the hospital on Friday or that he could have dialysis in the regular place and go to the hospital afterwards. The chose dialysis and the hospital. He also barely eats.

The Dr. basically put my dad in the hospital so my Mom could sleep. On Thursday the Dr. told my mom that dad doesn't have long to live. I've accepted that fact a long time ago. Dad is looking like a shriveled old man lately. Like a good wind could blow him away. If they go out to a resaurant to eat, he eats.

I don't want to post anything of FB because I don't want some people on there to know. They are nosey enough. And they don't need to know. You guys are my family.

PaMom - I'd wish you all the best....with the job and even more so with your parents. Words fail me and I don't think I have the eloquence to convey how much I wish things were different for your dad. All I can add is that I'll keep you in my thoughts.

I'm so glad you are comfortable posting that here, and NEVER think we would skip anything like this!! There really aren't enough little hug smilies to convey an appropriate hug here. I will keep you in my prayers. For that, and the job!

Oh .. PA mom... your dad is in my prayers. I know you and your daughter will be strong during this difficult time, it's soooo hard to watch a sick parent... especially if they are there mentally... all you want to do is have them healthy. I saw it with my mom, and she was well aware of what was happening, which makes it so hard for me to know she was scared. I will keep you all in my prayers. hopefully he will recuperate enough to get home again.

A quick hello and hopefully back later to catch up. My hip is coming out of place and I've been in a lot of pain. Driving is painful and sitting at the computer hurts. By evening I can't stand sitting as the pain gets worse as the day goes on and I will stand at the computer for a few minutes. I have been checking fb and emails quickly and getting off. I finally broke down and made an appt for OMT this morning. Unfortunately I have to drive myself approx. 14 miles to get there. I wish I had someone to drive me b/c it will be painful.
