Dancing Babnanas 10!!!....Some bacon, a pole, and more udder nonsense

So I was up at stupid-o'clock this morning for no good reason. Actually I woke up with a pounding headache, so I had to take Excedrin which has caffeine. Thus, an extra-early start to my day.

DH and I were supposed to go out to eat later today (in celebration of my earlier-this-week birthday) but it's going to snow so that's out the window. UGH! I guess we'll probably go tomorrow instead but I just hate when the whether screws with my plans. I've got plenty to do here around the house, but I was looking forward to getting out!

I didn't make it to TJ Maxx. Maybe this week. I have not had luck at our Goodwill. Found a cute $5 in-style dress for my daughter though.

Nope, didn't make it today either. Maybe tomorrow.

I'm back! That was great fun as usual. I was not brave enough to try the new slides. Too high and scary for the AquaDunk and too cold to get in any water in anything less than a scuba suit. The rest oft family tried both slides. DH loves the AquaDunk. The girls, not so much. Dd7 did it twice but then wouldn't go again. Dd14 got off saying "I didn't like it! It gave me a huge wedgie". Plus, the floor dropping out was a bit too much for her. Dd7 loved the redone kids club, especially the Marvel's Avengers area. A friend from our Disboard thread stayed in the Roy suite so we got to tour that. Very cool! Now just 10 months until our next one.

....I have a love/hate relationship with that store - I love that you can find great bargains there, but the place usually looks like a bomb hit it....

Nope. I just realized that I will have plenty of time to kill shopping Wed when I take my brother to his colonoscopy appt. It's a different TJ Maxx than the one I usually visit. The handful of times I've been, it's pretty neat and organized like the one closer to me.

I hate hanging out in hospitals and I can't stand sitting still that long either. I'd rather be on the move.

Probably would, but I don't really have the $ to blow at this time. I have a gift card to TJ Maxx so I won't be spending anything. Dega needs a blood test this week so I can refill her prescription so the vet will be taking most of my $ this week. I have 2 animals on meds for the rest of their lives. I am at the vet often for 1 reason or another.

My former night school called last week. They are having one of the hospital systems coming in to the school this Friday to conduct interviews. It'll be a guaranteed first interview. Naturally I said, 'sign me up!!' I filled out the necessary online paperwork and am going in at 8:30.

Yeah, I just had to run out and get dog, cat and ferret food all at the same time. Much of which came from my food budget. That's ok, we don't need to eat this week. As long as the animals are taken care of, it's all good. Seriously, it will be fine. I'm the queen of cheap meals and I still have a turkey in the freezer.

No, we never got out to eat. Roads were carppy both days this weekend and I didn't feel like negotiating 20 miles worth!!

I need to go collect the ferrets. I have 4 here...somewhere. My daughter brought her 2 here to visit Sat. and they are still here. One is in my lap, but not sure what the others are doing.
