I have the best husband! He is so good to me and considering my quirkiness, that's above and beyond his "duty".
My day started with breakfast in bed from Hunter and ended with a parade. Well, it wasn't a parade just for my birthday, but I like to think it is.

well deserved!

And for surgery and percocet. I can't take that stuff, or really any painkillers but I'll watch out for the posts!

Glad to hear everything went okay. Now the healing begins. . . and the drugs. I hope they gave you some good one.

Well folks....I'm back with an update.....take your time recovering from the shock.....last time we chatted we had spent the day at Epcot with Jordan & Rosie and part of the day with Wendy, Derek and gang.....we had dinner at Kouzzina and Jordy had a mystery smear on his britches....

Our last full day came and I have to admit I was depressed. I was feeling slightly eeyore-ish and the drizzling sky went right along with my mood. our week had been so full of great times alone and with friends...the thought of soon returning to the real world and the construction zone at home was not appealing.
D.Jay and I had plans to do MK in the morning and breakfast at Liberty Tree Tavern ...they were hosting character breakfasts while CP was under refurbishment. I was happy to get one last peek at the characters there, Minnie in her colonial costume is my favorite.

Ok, to be totally honest...when I read the menu there they had an appricot french toast casserole that reeled me in.

We were at the gates at opening and soon found ourselves posing for a picture....

there are only 2 rides at disney I generally don't do...MS and the teacups...for those of you laughing , Rosie, I figure if she can be scared of goofy's barnstormer I can have my tea cup phobia. It's really just the spinning constantly...I always end up with a headache and feeling like my poor kitty who once tried to take a ride in the washer.

Against my better judgment I believed d.jay when he said he wouldn't spin it too much....

I don't think he listened too well....

I now realize looking at my outfit that I have a striking resemblence to Grimace.....

Are we having fun yet????

Things started to look up when I saw our first part of breakfast...

that is orange butter there...and when you smother a fresh croisant with it...it is to die for!

I LOVE fresh berries!

Apricot French Toast casserole with Maple butter.....pure heaven on a plate....I may have had a "when harry met sally" moment there with that!

The food was amazing! It makes me drool just thinking about it all!

Occasionaly I took a break from stuffing my face to pose with characters..

I guess Dale was a little hungry himself..

After breakfast it was time to go on a cruise...it was a little after 11 and this is what the line for JC looked like..

Afterwards we headed over to Liberty Square to meet up with a special princess and her frog.......

I have to say that they were my all time favorite characters to meet! The banter between the 2 of them was hillarious and unexpected. She is definatly different from the other princesses and I loved it!

It had rained off and on all morning and we were in hopes of a dryer, sunnier afternoon..

I am so grateful that DS doesn't like to spin on the tea cups! I would end up feeling sick for the rest of the day if I rode it the way it was intended!

That breakfast looks REALLY GOOD!!!!! I'm drooling over those pics.

I am hoping to meet the princess & the frog characters this trip. Not holding my breath, though. I'm sure the lines for everything will be really long.

I'm so sorry we didn't get to meet Tiana. Danielle didn't want to meet any characters unless there were at a meal. Did she put Naveen in his place?
