Hey!

I went to get some spray glitter for my DDad to give to my DDaughter, since recital is coming up and my DMom has always been the "glitter provider", and I'll be darned if I can find any!!

We're usually able to find it either at the Dance Supply place (sold out) or Sally's Beauty Supply (only had the Halloween junky stuff), and even checked Walgreens (same stuff as Sally's). I'm looking for the really good, multi-colored sparkles that can be sprayed on hair or skin... anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks in advance!

I love hair glitter but the director of my dd's studio doesn't allow it unless she says it's part of the costume....control issues :rotfl: Anyway, I know that you can buy it online. Off the top of my head, dancewearsolutions.com and discountdancesupply.com. Both usually sell it.

OMG!!! I love you!! :lovestruc

Thank you SOOO much, I think I found exactly what he'd want to get her, and we have a month to go so we have time for it to be shipped.

:grouphug:

teamimage.us is another place to get it. they also have glitter eye makeup like the kind used for competitive cheer. We use the white and silver for recital makeup. It really shines on stage. I typically use the sprinkle on glitter from claires with hairspray over it fro dd's hair because she has a reaction t something in some of the spray glitters. I have to be careful what kind I buy, and i have found that sprinkle on+ hairspray is just as good.

OH!! YAY!! I love you ladies. I want to do a DIY-BBB for DD when we go in December, her hair is so fine and still kinda short in places, it'll *never* go into a bun. Not paying $50 for a hairstyle for hair that wont go into a bun, lol.

This is exactly what I've been looking for, and I haven't seen it around Halloween.

Thank you!!

For future reference---I stock up on November 1 at Walmart at their half-off post halloween clearance. :)

It's funny that you say that. When Iwas in college I was on the color guard for the marching band. We always went and bought everything the Wlamart in town had the day after halloween. There were 28 of us that needed to be glittered for every game and we were getting it for a dollar a can. We went through four 24 can cases a season.

I remember it being great then, but it doesn't seem to have as much glitter per spary now as the "dance" brands??

IParty maybe? Glitter is NOT allowed at our recital. And every year a couple of the pre-school kid's Moms bring spray glitter and spray the whole class at dress rehearsal, and then the director lets them know that it is forbidden:rotfl:
