It has been a while since I last read journals! I just noticed your 15 pound clippie! GREAT JOB!! :banana: I'll bet that you can tell a big difference in the way that your clothes fit now. :flower:
 
There you go again, making me drool over the HC ice cream sandwiches!!! I saw they were on sale the other day, I think I'll have to go pick up a box or two!

Your food choices look great. Don't forget your fruits and veggies!
 
Those HC Ice cream sandwiches are yum! They don't even taste like they are low-fat! I wish that having one went towards my fruits or veggies for the day!

I left off at 440 cals and 10g of fat.

Lunch was a HC Beef Pot Roast w/potatoes and carrots. I threw the dessert part away...I don't like raisins in my apple cobbler. 390 cals 9g

Total: 830 cals 19g

I only have 370 cals left for dinner. Hmmm....what should I have? I can eat 3 ice cream sandwiches....Just Kidding! I wish!! :goodvibes

I can tell in my shirts....I am top heavy, so I tend to lose in my chest/waist/hip area...the torso. My face looks a lot more narrow. I still have a way to go...but being on the boards helps SO MUCH!!
 

Hi! Dinner was a quesadilla w/2 whole wheat tortillas and low-fat cheddar cheese....put salsa in them..very yummy. I also cut an apple into slices.
340 cals 8g

I have not weighed myself for awhile...I feel like I am the same. I will weigh myself in a week.

I am sorry that I have been so busy and have not had a chance to comment on everyone's journals...soon, I hope!

I had to go to bed early last night...9pm, so I could get up early this morning to call and make my ADR's for our trip this fall. Anyways, here is what I ate yesterday:

Breakfast: LC Chicken Stir-Fry 310 cals

Lunch: LC Pizza ...I added a salad 450 cals

Dinner: LC Salisbury Steak with Mac n Cheese ...added steamed broccoli 350 cals

Snack: sugar free 98% fat-free Ice cream sandwich 120 cals

Totals: 1230 cals

I did not keep track of fat grams...I ate mostly low-fat frozen dinners...so the damage can't be that bad! :teeth:
 
You are doing a great job adding veggies to your meals. Keep it up!
 
I am really trying to get my veggies in!

Here is what I ate today:

Breakfast: 1 granola bar, an apple and a "light" string cheese

Lunch: LC 4-cheese Pizza .. added some honeydew and canteloupe

Dinner: Plain bagel and a salad and steamed broccoli

Dessert: 98% FF/Sugar Free Ice Cream Sandwich

***I didn't keep track of my calories today...I actually think that I went under 1200...which is not good***I will try tomorrow to stay at least 1200-1500 calories a day. I hope everyone has a great night!

Today here is what I ate:

Breakfast: Granola bar, FF yogurt, 2 plums

Lunch: LC Fettucine Alfredo added some broccoli to it

Snack: 98%FF/Sugar Free Ice cream Sandwich

Dinner: LC Beef Pot Roast w/carrots and mashed potatoes


I also lost 2 pounds! I weighed myself this morning and have lost 2 pounds since I last weighed in! Yea![/

I am still soooo busy, I promise to get to everyone's journals as soon as I can! I know that you are all doing well!

Here is what I ate today:


Breakfast: 2 light string cheese sticks, 1 apple

Snack: Slim Fast Snack Bar Peanut Butter, 1 plum

Lunch: LC Beef Pot Roast w/carrots and mashed potatoes (this is becoming one of my favorites; very filling and only 190 calories!) added some broccoli

Dinner: Lean Pocket (Turkey, Broccoli and Cheddar), some asparagus (ick!!) and 9 Baked Ruffles

Dessert: 98% FF/Sugar-free Ice Cream Sandwich(BTW-this is a walmart brand, and it is delicious!)

I could have done better! Oh, well! I am still eating my fruits and veggies, drinking water, and exersizing...so I guess that is good! :cheer2:
 
Ah, yes, don't we all love the creamy, fried stuff, but I can't do that anymore...it's how I got fat! :rotfl2:

I am going to get some gum and try that when I'm cooking dinner. Dinnertime seems to basically ruin my whole eating plan all day so if I get a handle on this...I feel like I will actually be able to do this! :)

Thanks Karyn and Lisa for visiting my journal!!

Here is what I ate yesterday:


Breakfast: PB&J sandwich w/an apple (the sandwich was made with: "light" wheat bread, reduced-fat PB, and sugar-free raspberry jelly)

Lunch: 2 soft chicken tacos from Del Taco and I ate some carrot sticks to get my veggies in.

Dinner: ate at mom's...she made chicken burritos and she knows I am trying so she bought me whole wheat tortillas and didn't put a lot of "junk" on mine. She is Mexican and she uses a lot of lard to make food, but this time she didn't. 1 Chicken burrito w/chicken, tomatoes, LF cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, and salsa and 1 c my mom's special rice. It was yummy!!


I am hoping to lose about 10-15 pounds this month. I doubt I will lose as much as last month. The majority of the weight came off the first two weeks. Then I lost 4 pounds the last two weeks. Thank you everyone who reads my journal and supports me, I can't do it without your support!
 
Today I think I did well! Sundays are usually really hard for me b/c I am at home pretty much all day. Here is what I ate:
Breakfast: granola bar, FF strawberry yogurt

Lunch: WW Turkey and mashed potatoes added a salad

Dinner: 4 oz piece of steak, 1/2 cup of rice pilaf, corn on the cob, green beans , and a small roll

Snack: 100-calorie pack of Oreos

Don't you just love those 100 calorie Oreos!! I didn't think that they would be so good!! I hope that you meet your goal this month. You will have to buy all new clothes for your trip!! Do you know how many sizes you are down? I lost 30 pounds a while back and went from a 16/18 to a 6! It's still weird to me buying smaller clothes. I haven't gotten used to it yet! :flower:

Karyn~Before I got pregnant and gained all this weight, I wore a 7/8. I have no idea what size I wear. I still wear maternity clothes, size Medium. I went to Old Navy and tried on normal jeans and size 16 was tight, but when I tried on a skirt and it fit it was a 12 :confused3 ! I know that this is gross, but, my stomach is getting small but I have all this gross loose skin from having Maddie and gaining so much weight! That is why I buy maternity jeans...they fit around the tummy and everywhere else. While I was pregnant I wore XL maternity jeans. This sucks...my mom said that my stomach will eventually not have so much loose skin and to keep exercising. I think that if I reach 110 and I am still having loose skin issues around my tummy, I will have a tummy tuck.

I will check back again later with all the food I ate!! Hope everyone is having a great Labor Day!
