We have eaten at lots of restaurants at DW over the years. However, looking at it from a different perspective this year. What table service restaurants would you consider are the best bang for your money right now at DW. We will be there for a week over Christmas and have two kids (6 turning 7 over the trip and a 15 year old).

Victoria and Alberts if you could pawn the kids off to someone for the evening is by far the best restaurant at Diz. If you cant ditch the kids I would suggest Narcoossees or Le Cellier.

“Best bang for the money” is very subjective. But with kids 10 and 14 I really like some of the family style restaurants. Roundup Rodeo BBQ and Garden Grill were both money well spent for us last time. No one has to make a decision about what to order and there always seems to be something for everyone which makes for a happy experience all around.

My view is your money goes much further at the resorts than in the parks.

That said, in the parks Satu'ill is my favorite Quick Service. Le Cellier probably comes to mind as the best signature dining in the parks.

Best bang for your buck is soooooooooooo subjective. That being said we've never regretted our dining bills at Topolino's Terrace (breakfast and dinner), Sanaa or Le Cellier.

Family style: Garden Grill and Liberty Tree Tavern

V & A is a an excellent dining experience but, honestly, it is NOT worth anywhere near the cost!

When we travel the goal is more where I feel the pricing for what we get as far as sit down is fair, so maybe this is what you mean:

MK - Be Our Guest broke my long held WDW expectations that if there is a show the food will be less than
Swan reserve - Amare is lovely but the bar Stir right outside the restaurant had outstanding flatbread and cocktails so that was fab
DS - Brown Derby Cobb salads & martini flight
EPCOT - Hacienda de San Angel
AK - Rainforest Cafe is fun with kids
Disney Springs - Paddlefish - T Rex is fun with kids- The Edison is the old Adventurers club and we really liked it

Steakhouse 71 if you want a steak. The quality is pretty good considering you get a steak and a side for under $40.

Sebastian's Bistro offers sodas, rolls, salad, a 4 entree platter with sides, and dessert for $39 per person.

Wine Bar George's lunch and brunch menu are great, and the portions are big for the prices. Dinner is very good too, but the menu is mostly small plates with a few more expensive entrees.

In the parks, Diamond Horseshoe for $45 per person and Biergarten for $49 per person are decent deals. 50's Prime Time offers good value for their plate sizes, but the food isn't my favorite. Jungle Skipper Canteen is the one non-signature, table service restaurant I make a point to go to in the parks.

For us, part of what makes dining a better "bang for your buck" at WDW is eating at places that are also an "experience" and don't have anything close to what we can do back at home, so some of these fall into that category:

Sci-Fi Dine In
Sanaa (if you are not going to Animal Kingdom - so nice to watch the animals while you dine - we do first seating of the day so we can make sure we get a window seat)
Garden Grill (if you do a late breakfast and essentially make it your "brunch" instead)
Actual brunch at Olivia's Cafe (served until 2pm daily) on a resort day, especially if you are going to Disney Springs that day, you can take the boat there/back again
Via Napoli (if you get the mezzo metro pizza instead of individual dishes)

Honorable mention to Hoop-Dee-Doo Revue - good food that is all you care to eat plus a show (but it is not inexpensive - we do the 4pm show and make it a "linner").

Trattoria al Forno, Ale & Compass, Raglan Road, Steakhouse 71, Olivia’s, and the Grand Floridian Cafe all offer decent bang for the buck. The signature restaurants at the resorts less so, although we still frequent a number of them. Citrico’s and Flying Fish are particular favorites, but we’re not feeding any children.

I really like Toledo at Coronado Springs. It's not cheap but for the quality (I've had a great salmon dish and steak dish) and wine list it's reasonable and often overlooked. I don't travel with kids though.

Garden Grill was one of the best meals we had when we were just there. Especially for the amount of food you receive, and it feels on the healthier side. The salad is so good.
