I agree, it's all about the experience there.
I think it has to be paid in full on the 26th, if I am remembering right. I'm 90% sure we are going at this point, but now it's just to get Skip to agree and get it paid off before that deadline.

90% is always good! If all else fails send in Clare! From what I have been reading she has daddy wrapped around her finger. I was the same way. Just had to give dad the little pouty face and I got just what I wanted.....still works on occasion!

I think he's kind of excited about going. He has let me go through photo albums of past trips over the last 2 days with no complaints. He even told me to hold it better so he could see!

Yes!!!! But knowing him, he will still want to wait to purchase. Technically I can cancle Pop and rebook up till late Nov or early Dec (I forget the free dining cut off date) BUT then I run the risk of it not being available too.

I would love to meet up with you! I'm still rearanging things in my head though. I am still thinking of doing the resort photshoot & MVMCP on Thurs the 9th, then MK still for the 10, AK the 11, Epcot the 12th, and again MK on the 13th.
But I am also thinking of doing the wonderland tea party on the 13th at 2 and the we have WCC around 530 I think (I don't have my notes with me, I'm on my laptop in the garage watching Claire rollarskate). So after that we will be MK. I hope to get there in the morning for a bit too. Maybe like 10 till around 1 when we'll have to head over to GF.
Once I have things more set, we can think of a time. Or meet up at Pop too.

Eek! Well it sounds like Skip is in, he might just need a liiiiiittle push. Maybe you could make him a special dinner, evven use a Disney recipe or two, and when he says he loves it, just say "Well you know, that recipe came from..." And defintiely have Claire wear a princess dress. IT shoudl push him right over the edge!

My MIL keeps saying we're going, because he told Claire yes. But I think he told Claire yes, meaning someday! LOL!
I think he just wants to wait, but I hate waiting. We are completely opposite with things like this.

I'm sorry his hip is giving him such problems. His pain affects the whole family, ( not speaking about Disney) he hurts, you all feel hurt and helpless. I hope that he will be able get this taken care of soon, and you all can get past this.

I'm so sorry. I was really hoping that you all would have the answers you needed by now. It so stinks when the drs can't/ won't take the time to really figure things out. Will be thinking of you and praying Skip's hip gets better soon.

Happy belated Sweetest Day everyone!


I didn't realize it till last night, but yesterday was Sweetest day. I know it's not celebrated all over the Country, so for those who don't know what it is, it's basically like Valentines day in the Fall.

We went out last night, but not because of Sweetest day. It was becuase Claire had a sleep over with my niece at my Aunt and Uncle's House. So it will take her several days to recover from that. They feed them lots of sugar and spoil them rotten.

We saw Secretariat. I liked the movie. It wasn't fantastic, but very interesting.

After that we went to Chilis and got something to eat.

Then came home and talked a bit about "vacation". Skip said, "yes" we'll go somewhere.. And my reply was NOT Somewhere,.... but Disney! and he laughed.

I told him that we needed to have it booked and paid for by the 26th or we lose the "sale" price. So he said he will have his decision in a few days for sure. I was practically jumping all over. LOL! and I was laying in bed.

So please keep the prayers up! I don't want anything to go wrong and cause him to say no.

Another funny thing we talked about was Claire. She told Skip the other day that her and I stashed away some more fun money for Disney. I just laughed so hard when he told me this.
Last week, I was rolling pennies. Claire has a big bag full of them. We have already rolled $25 in silver change a month ago and I told her I would save it for Disney (I cashed it in for bills). But I didn't have penny rolls at the time. So I rolled $10 worth of pennies the other day before I ran out of rolls again.
Claire was watching and helping and asked what it was for.
I told her it was for her Disney FUND. She replies, "I love FUN money. I am so happy mommy that you are helping me save up money for FUN! I can buy whatever I want with it, because it's only for FUN stuff."

It was so funny when Claire was saying it. It was so cute how she didn't know what I meant, yet she thought she did. LOL!
