It is so hard. I guess I am geting used to it over the years. But it still annoys me. Now when it comes to something he REALLY wants to do, he wil ldrop anything and go. But still, alot of times it's last minute when he decides.

I know, I should've! I think if he hasn't said anything by Wed. I'll push it again. There is alot going on around here, so I know it's not his top thought every day.
His brother got stepped on by a cow yesterday and went to the hospitalNothing is broken, but he is supposed to be on crutches for 6 weeks. Which means, by the end of the week, his brother will throw them away! LOL! There is no way he will sit an rest...ever. I think he's even worse than Skip when it comes to that kind of stuff.

Skip is the best daddy!







Ok, I wish I could say this was about him saying yes, but that hasn't happened yet.




But a few weeks ago was Bless your pet day at school. (Claire goes to a Catholic school) She was all excited about it. Now we have 50 zillion cats, but 99% of them are not friendly and run away when you get near them. She wanted me to catch a cat and bring it for the blessing, so I promised I would work on it.
The Blessing was scheduled at 1:45. At 12:30, I went looking for a cat. BIL told me he had a cat carrier in his basement, so I went over and got it and caught a cat, and put it in there. All set....right?

Well Skip came in at 1:10 and said, "why didn't you tell me about it?". Well honetsly it slipped my mind, and only because Claire had asked the night before, did I remember.
So he started pondering about how he could bring a calf up there, but it would require hooking up a trailer, and this and that, and before I knew it he was out the door getting things rolling.

So we took a calf up and Claire was so surprised when she came out to see that a Cat had been replaced by a cow. She was so giddy and excited.

That was really sweet of Skip to do that for Claire. Now, it would be even sweeter if he'd just say yes to the Disney trip.

Oh those cow pictures are so cute! I worked at a dairy farm in high school (at the ice cream stand). We loved it when the cows had babies! We didn't love it when they got loose and had to corral them at 8 pm on a hot humid summer night!

Oh that is sooooo cute... I wish our school (also Catholic) would do that. Maybe I will bring it up at the next parent council meeting
